My first thing that I would check is put a test light on the wire to the starter. When turned to start position you should have 12v.
But if you dont have 12v at the starter wire and the fuses are good, there is either a break in the wire or the ign switch is bad.
Heres a pic of the starter circuit. Hope it helps.

i got 12 volts. which fuses should i check. if i pop start it and then turn it off but quickly turn it back it'll crank. don't know if that helps...i'm really screwed if i can't get this running tonight. also i was messing with the head unit and now when i have the car in the on position the radio in on but when i go to start it it turns off. could there be something wrong there? i tried completely unhooking it and get the same issue

okay, when you said "new" do you mean new new or just anther one?? If you are getting 12v to the small starter wire AND the big wire then you have a bad starter.
BTW, the radio will turn off in the start position. All cars do that.

If your alarm has starter diasble then yes. If its just a plain alarm then more than likely no. Just make sure you do or dont have 12v at the small wire when in the start position. If you dont, then youll need to back track toward the ignition switch.
If you NEED to move the car or get somewhere, you can "hotwire" it. Be SURE the caris in neutral and turn the key to the one position. Then take a piece of wire and jump between the big wire terminal and where the little one on the starter. Youre basically bypassing the ignition switch.

    it is your ignition switch.

If you can start it and it stops immediatedly then starter switch.

Bad contacts on the little white plastic thing behind the key switch. My rex did it. I could start it but it would immediately die. Or driving along and it would die.

There is a white ring with with contacts in it attached to your key switch. This is tied into your ignition harness.

They are about $40-60 from honda.

na it is called a neutral safety switch/ clutch switch can not start until press in clutch.

The little blue button you are talking about is the same as the brake pedal. My suggestion replace the little button on the clutch as well as your brakes.

you will get in your car one day and have brake lights on all the time.

I've got the honda part number if needed.

    honda part number

    46505-SA5-000

I think they are a buck a piece.

the new ones are white versus the old blue ones. You will have one for the clutch and one for the brake.
