big problem!!!!!!

Ok Guys I have a problem today when driving my car it started going crazy. At about 2700 rpm the tach just goes crazy and jumps all over the place and the car bogs a little but if you punch it hard the tach eventually straightens back out at around 4k and the car takes off like a rocket (well a slow rocket with a stock d16a6 that is). I think it is the Ignitor (Ignition control module or ICM)

Any thoughts?

i know the ground between the vc and frame is good i still need to check the others

check to make sure you plugs are tight going into your dizzy.

Like you said it might be the ignitor module, If you have a spare replace it and check.

My spare one got put into my other car cause of erratic issues with bogg down, weak spark. Replaced the module and all was good.

I think your muffler bearing is bad, Or it could possibly be that you need to rotate the air in your tires...Hope this helps!!!

yeah its throwing a code for the vss and eld but thats it i checked all of the plugs in the dizzy nothing so im pretty sure its the ignitor ive heard they had a recall on them because of the failure rate

ok i feel like an idiot i took out all of the plugs putem back in and it runs fine at the moment ill update again tomorrow if its still good i didnt drive it long today
