For some reason I don't really believe an LS w/ GSR tranny in an EG will run a 14.6 (trap speed?) unless I see it in person but anyway, we will/should all get together and hit up Commerce on a Friday before it closes early Nov. Then all the trash talking will stop!

Well it did guy said it had low miles.But we never broke it down to see what was inside.I'd love to do that, you gone bring your slicks or run on street tires?

^^^I think his lowest time was 14.6 or 14.5 thats pretty good.I dont know if his b16 is stock though but thats good.I seen people with Gsr hatches that cant hit 15s.

Yeah stock LS w/ an LS transmission won't get you into the 14s, unless your car is guttttttttttted to hell. The GSR tranny is a HUGE upgrade. Had a friend with a semi gutted eg, LS w/ basic bolt ons, and a GSR tranny(open diff.) run mid high 14s on street tires.

You talk to much for having 3" of dust on your out dated turbo-ZC that hasn't even seen the sunlight since 1996.

Anyway, the nitrous MAP was tuned by Scotty at Mainstream and ran well on the dyno & a few times on the street, I then stopped using it for awhile, nothing different now but all of a sudden I get nitrous backfires

I'm not going to lie, I don't have anywhere near the same experience drag racing as say Peter (ISP) but you should stop talking to me like I'm some noob & can't drive. haha, well i can attest that commerce isn't always prepped the best, the altitude isn't optimal, and you can run a couple of tenths slower than at say silver dollar or elsewhere.....

mph is a good indicator of power/ weight, but street tires keep a lot of cars at an et that seemingly would be lower.

Anyway, I wish I had been able come out and give you guys a run for your $ - but on the other hand we had a rough weekend and had to put our man's best friend of 14 years to sleep......

When I had drag radials on mine I launched at 4k I think and it hooked

Yea usually with radials its best if you launch at 5k. Any lower it might bog.I usually launch at 3k on street tires and feather but with radials just let it spin.
