u and kevin keep going back and forth about who is going to drag who, but u dont have an engine in ur car yet so... it's pointless to argue about who is going to win, it's kinda like the special olympics. it doesn't matter who wins cuz at the end of the day they are all still retards.:lmao:

Even with a 3-layer head gasket and no head or block machining, CTR pistons in an LS will put the compression above 13:1, too high for most street cars.

You definitely want to keep the LS crank too, there's no reason to put a B16 crank in a B18 block unless you're trying to build a B16B type screamer.

There is one OEM crank that offers more stroke than an LS, it's the B21A crank from 3rd gen Preludes, but I probably wouldn't do that without a sleeved block (high lateral cylinder forces at higher RPM).

man i live in henry county, but all my friends stay in clay co and i work in jonesboro. so im always riding around the southside. so i know all about the mexican's in riverdale. i used to go to the publix meets every sunday, untill the mexicans went crazy and started shooting each other.

okay i am going to just build this motor oem, then once it is running i am going to find a ls block then i can take my time and build the badass motor i want from scratch and do it right! so ill do litlle mods on this motor as i build the the other motor peice by peice. so thats it. turning over a new leaf and lets go!

anywas man, i advice going with a gsr or b16 head, ls dont make good power all motor.

i almost went the ls way until i realized those ****s are slow, so i have an ls vtec now.

go for it, build it right and its worth it. but if your going ls i have a clean ass vw green ls valve cover ill sell to you.
