Depending on the trim your rex is, you may have to change your spindles.

If you're going OBD1, you've gotta wire it and get the conversion harness and dizzy to match.

    Cherry picker.

Someone that knows what they're doing.

Save your time and do your timing belt before putting it in.

yes you can use the axles i believe ask ben aka evasiveef9 as he has this exact swap in his ef hatch so it is all his territory with this. what trim level is your crx? hf, si, etc im sure he is going to need that info as well to say what you need or dont need.

ps the rywire kit makes this alot easier so if you have the cash i suggest you get it as i am going to do when i do my swap soon

Still need Rywire conversion harness (just buy it, or one from eBay - trust me, I hate chasing wires). Also - grab a timing belt. ALso - get the dizzy from Distributor Kings.

    What mounts are you using?

    if its pr4 then yes
just use all of parts from the car you are swapping over
now that i think about it you dont even need a harness just use the one from teh da you are using since your using the ecu as well

so really you need shift linkage, axles and mounts i would get the hasport as teh avid ones are a bit off but go within your budget you can always upgrade later

If the engine is from a 1990 Integra it's OBD-0, and all this talk of OBD-1 conversions is completely unnecessary.

An OBD-0 B18A swap in a CRX Si is practically plug and play.

    Thank god, Jeff...

There's so much heresey in this thread, it's not even funny...

    Let's straighten some things out.

    PR4 can be OBD0 or OBD1
    -1990-1991 Integra's are OBD0
    -1992-1993 Integra's are OBD1

You have the option to go OBD1 or OBD0. To convert to OBD1 (which is easier to tune than OBD0, then you just have to buy a couple more parts)

    Your EF is OBD0, currently

If you have an SI, it's already MPFI, and thus you won't have to do an MPFI conversion.

www.boomslang.us has a plug and play for the low-low seeing as you can get one for a pre-MPFI setup. Buy it. It's quality. It's cheaper than Rywire. This is ONLY if you plan to convert to OBD1. If you're staying OBD0, don't worry about it.

Your DA axles WILL work with your SI hubs. You won't have any problems. Direct fit.

Your shiftlinkage will NOT work from the DA. You will HAVE to buy a new one. Check Avid Racing for the low-low...or spend quality money and get a hasport. I purchased an Avid. I hate it. It works...but it's not quality. Get yourself the Hasport.

Your motor mounts will have to be purchased. If you stay with a cable transmission (what you currently have) then get the EFB1 (if I remember right) kid for a CABLE transmission. If you convert to Hydro tranny, get the correct kid. I purchased Avid mounts (I think) and I hate them. Spend the money and get Hasport would be my advice.

The above information was typed with the idea that you plan to STAY as an OBD0 setup. If you plan to go OBD1, please advise so I can assist you further.

You can modify the DA linkages to work in a B-swapped CRX, you don't necessarily have to buy aftermarket.

If you can cut/weld, shorten the DA change rod 2 5/8 inches, and shorten the compensator rod 2 3/8 inches.

A B18A is a great and inexpensive swap. You know this Ben, you have one. I don't assume that you will have one forever though. Few of us have the cash to go from stock to a built Turbo K24 all at once, we move in stages. A B18 is a fine first step.

If you got a b18a, not a b18b...then everything mounts on, meaning, axels, and wire harness only...holes and so on...things u be needing is just shift linkage unless you cutt n weld....and aftermarket motor mounts, things u could only use from the DA is the axels...rear bracket mount and wire harness...be a easy swap.....!
