Default New Wheels FTMFW ( Added Pics!)

I just got the wheels i've been drooling over for moths tired up and mounted on the Rex. Baby's got a new pair of shoes!!!!

Tracklite 2.0 15x7s FTMFW. I'm stoked beyond all belief about this. THey weigh 10.2lbs a piece, going down from my 17" which were 22-24 a piece.

    Pictures coming soon.

    Smile

Here are general pics of the wheeland how it looks on A crx. I'm almost not wanting to post pics of mine cuz it doesn't look quite rite without my lowering springs on it. The fender gap is too large, makes it look off, not really worth showing off just yet.

2 months till my shocks and springs, then I'll show it off left and right.

    *Edit*
THese are old tire rack pics so they are a bit...i duno, off...just some minor details arent the same.
Ohh, and Mine had th elil "Tracklite" logo on one of the spokes

I don't think I'm allowed to discuss what I payed for them. I got a prety good deal, though. Helps to know a distributor for them

Yes, yes, the lowering will happen. I just need to save up some more cash. Right now I've got a shoping list of pieces that need repair, and those come before upgrades. Axles, clutch, pads, shoes, machine rotors, and a few other minor things.

I don't know where you work, but you guys are getting raped. 15 x 7 Tracklites on Tirerack.com are going for $232.00/wheel. You might want to have a discussion with your supplier, or switch suppliers.

I think they are available in 17". $300+ cost makes more sense in that size.

Tracklite 2.0's are only 15s. The original tracklite is offered in 15s, 16s, and 17s. 2.0's are 6 spoke, as opposed to the 5 spoke originals (which I like the look of more) and weigh less.

The maginal cost increase between original and 2s, for me, is worth the lower weight. If I'm already spending that much money, i'll pay a tad more for beter performance.

    *Update*
I just checked tirerack, and their prices on teh 2.0s dropped to match the originals. Weird. I guess I didn't save as much money as I thought...still was a lot cheaper than that, though.

My exhaust is custom made. It is far from stock.

    Tires are 195/50-15

The floor is almost stripped. I ave to do a little section under the drivers seat and do a little clean up all around to get the lil details I missed hwen doing the majority of it. Then it'll gedt sanded down a hare, anti-rust sprayed, then coated with special stuff
