    Speed ratings are absolutely irrelevant unless you have a car that will see speeds above 200 mph. Any decent gripping tire is going to be rated at least V, which is good to 149 mph. Saying you want "at least a Z rating" is like saying you want to finish a class with "at least an A+" ... you can't really do any better.

    The Falken Azenis RT615 is probably the best street tire out there. The Hankook Ventus R-S2 is right there with it. There are tires that grip better, but they won't last long with daily use.

    lol, RT65s don't last long either. Mine lasted around 5 months, A-Ran put a brand new set on his CRX around feb. of this year, they've already been replaced.

    The RT-615s used to be the tire to have in STS, but not anymore. They're not a bad tire, but you won't see more than about 10,000 miles out of them.

    I DD, track, and autocross the Toyo Proxes 4s. The first set lasted 30,000 miles, roughly, with I think three or four track weekends and maybe 10 autocrosses...or about 50+ autocross runs on them. The track weekends were driven mostly by my roommate at the time...he time trialed my car for three events, and is a much, much better driver than I was at the time. Well, by better, I mean Rob hustled my car around a road course faster.

    I replaced the Proxes 4s with another set. I've now done two autocrosses, and five track days on them. I've had a couple of my instructors comment on how well they stick.

    Agreed. As stated, I run the 4's. I love them. Granted, I want stickier...but unless it's a track-only car...it's impractical. Proxes 4 FTW.

    hey man... I'm a fan of volvos... i grew up driving my parents 85 DL wagon. I loved that car. The newer ones are hideous though.

    lol i was just kidding. 240's and honda's are usually against each other, ya know.

    idc though, my 1st car was a 240. i'm not narrow minded when it comes to cars what so ever, i even like lifted trucks and muscle cars.

    anyway, try to get sum pics of the EF. what kind of dizzy you need? check the FS/WTB section in the EF forum and look to see if sum1 has one.
