Default Why do I hate salvage yards?

Gotta find one before sunday...and...sometimes people have random shit like this laying around.

Went to Marietta Salvage today...they wanted 20$ for a shitty rusted-over plate/two-bolt setup.

Checked the Honda site today. It's about 15$ for a brand new one from the dealer...without the shop discount.

    LoLoL

Hey, if anyone's got one, I could use one. I'll probably just order one tomorrow evening if I don't hear from anyone.

Call me if you've got it, though. 404.452.2215

The battery lock-down thingy. Consists of an angled plate that hooks onto the edge of the top of hte battery, and the two long-ass bolts that go down to lock into the chassis/battery plate.

Ha, I just made mine. Took a cut off disc to an old battery tray/plate and cut the two long sides off, measured to make it the right length, cut, cut, drill 2 holes, 2 j bolts and 2 nuts later...I had 2 battery hold downs. Took all of 15 mins.

If I had another tray I'd make you one...but, out of stock of those.

At least you have salvage yards in your area with civics. I'll be damn to find any type of civic down here; the only one I've found at a yard was a early 80's rusted up p.o.s hatch. All we have are damn accords, and maybe a da integra shell.

Lowes. Peice of plate, about 20" of 1/4" all thread, hook the ends, buy 2 1/4" nuts, and done. Probably about 10 bucks. Cut it, drill it, bolt it up!

Or just 15$ and get one that I don't have to do anything to.

    Been there, done that.

Installed...first time in 6 years it's had one in it.
