That's my bird, baby! Some of the footage was shot by my current instructor, (who'll remain nameless cuz they aren't really allowed to fly the birds like that...at least not, anymore). And if it looks big...yes, it is. Picture a helicopter that could probably fit about 3 of our cars inside it, and still be able to maneuver with the Cobra attack helicopter. It's rated to lift 36,000lbs. As I get some better pictures, I'll show oyu more of the bird...but anyways, yeah...classes have started, and I'm livin' it up. Checked the beach up here last weekend. Burnt the sh*t outta my back. Going again this saturday...

Sarku...if your motor isn't really modified, much...save your money on a good clutch and get just get a stock one, or napa/autozone special. That'll also let you get better with driving on a stick with a 130$clutch vs. like a 200+

Roughly? I did a small write up in the EF section about 2yrs ago...
Motor - 200-400
Tranny - 100-150 (cable)
Clutch - 100
Motor mounts (GET FRIGGIN' HASPORT!) 300$
Shift linkage - 0-30$
Throttle cable - 0-20$
ECU - 20-60
Axles - 30-100$ + jackshaft - 0-20 (make sure you get the right sh*t!)
rywire wire swap (if you go this route) - 125$
exhaust manifold/downpipe - 0-30
Am I missing anything? Look around at many places. Sometimes you'll find people getting outta the game, and or just cleaning their basements. When I was leaving the game, I was practically giving stuff away, and I would always throw in freebies. Me, I could personally pull a swap off for about 500$, now...it's all about who you know. Back then, I think I ran like 1300-1800 for mine. Also, it helps if you have stuff to trade off.

Let's say we'd have fun. Hindsight is 20/20 on what the outcome would be. From here, I'm merely experimenting in my head. Overall, you'd probably still have a nicer car as you've had MUCH more time to build it (and you've done well with the time you've had). I would be focused primarily on the speed factor, probably...which would DEF leave you with the nicer inside at the very minimum.
Again, I'm not gonna sit here and be liek "I'm gonna be faster than you!" But I will say if I build another, I'd wanna give you and dare a run for your money.
