    Default POSTAL JEEP BUILD....THIS IS A BUILD THREAD

    FIRST OFF I WOULD LIKE TO SAY I HATE THE NEW LAYOUT AND I THINK YOU SHOULD CHANGE IT BACK TO THE ORIGONAL . IT MAKES IT REALLY HARD FOR ME TO CONTROL MY POSTINGS...

    here's the story... i traded a dirtbike that i had no money in and i wasnt interested in bc it was tiny. I in return got this jeep. You can purchase them online anyday for under 1000 but you can do so much because it is basically a cj5. They come with a dana 20 in the rear but they are so narrow you have to cut the top off to eliminate weight overhead to prevent rolling. OR SWAP THEM FOR A FORD 8.8 AXLE FRONT AND REAR.

    1976
    jeep
    dj-5
    2wd
    I-6 inline 6cyl motor
    elctraglide auto transmission ( i think)

    runs and drives...

    mods to come:
    1.cut top
    2.modify interior to seat 2-4 people.. ( havtn decided)
    3.custom stereo (they didnt come with one)
    4.paint is undecided ( make some suggestions)
    5.suspension lift 3 inches
    6.tires 30 inch all terrain
    7.straight pipe exhaust
    8.ford 8.8 axle conversion
    9.roll cage
    10.eventually 350 engine swap 700r4 trans swap

    Doesn't look any more ragged out then most Jeeps you find to restore, that ones actually in decent shape.

    im not too familiar with jeeps. lol. looked hella ragged out to me.

    i will be pressure washing and rebuilding a /replacing a few things

    as far as painting cant go wrond with yellow or white and if u go with white if you have money you can put the golden eagle color schem on it
