yeah i started to install a Profec on my MX-6 but gave up. i'm sure you had to tap into all that crap under the turbo inlet right? that crazy valve? And yes thats spiking.. if you really like the car, invest in an EBC! We'll have to get together and compare cars sometime. And you can scoop that ECU. I cant remember how much i paid but i'll let you have it for $75. Im sure i paid close to 100 shipped from mx6.com.
Yeah, I already installed a boost gauge and a tempory "fixed" boost controller (connector with holes cut into it lol). It works but I noticed every gear it shows different boost levels. Is that spiking? Ex, 2nd gear will stay at 9psi, 3rd at 10psi, and 4th and 5th it hits boost cut everytime. When I get the new controller all I'll have to do is swap places, hopefully it should more consistent. And yes, it was a bitch to install it lol
Ha, ECUs are easy man, it took me a minute to find it on my MX6 as its not in the same spot as say a honda. As for installing a boost controller, from what ive seen its a bit of a bitch. i never got around to it on mine, lol. Also, have you scooped a boost gauge yet? Youll need one of those too.

Your cars a 90 right? I have a zombieSS chipped ECU for a 90-92 MX6GT/ProbeGT/626GT. It takes off the boost/fuel cut so you can crank up the boost. I would re-use it but the 626 GT im going to look at is an 89 so i cant use it. If your interested in it let me know.
