Default The ULTIMATE i7 RIG!!!!!!!!!Watercooled, Overclocked, SSD Drives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so I am debating on selling my rig. I need the money for a new car, and for what I use this thing for I really dont need it. The computer consists of the following:

    ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 Motherboard

Intel Core i7 920 (overclocked to 4.6 STABLE) Watercooled
    6GB OCZ DDR3 1600 (8-8-8-24)
    EVGA GTX 260 SSC
30GB OCZ Vertex SSD Drive (for os)
32GB OCZ Core SSD Drive (for programs)
500GB Hitachi 7200 rpm hard drive (for media)
    Corsair TX 750W Power supply
    Silverstone TJ10 Aluminum Case (black)
Swift Tech Apogee GTZ Water block
    Danger Den CD drive reservoir
    Jing Way DP1200 Water Pump
3 Swiftech 120x120 radiators (1 fan mounted on the intake radiator, 2 fans mounted on a push pull setup on each exhaust radiator)
Total of 6 120x120mm Red LED Coolermaster fans (92 CFM)
4 unit fan controller on front on case with speed adjustment knobs (also shows 4 different temp readouts)
    Samsung 22x DVD/CD burner
Legit copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit(will come with the original DVD and Key)

Thats it I think. I have a TON of time and money in this rig. I dont really want to get rid of it but since im trying to either pay the s2000 off and keep her, or just sell the car and pay cash for something else and either way it would be nice to have the cash and not the computer.

I dont have picture of the current build, but I have pics of it in an old case and I have picture of the new case just not with everything in it.

    Silverstone TJ10 Case
The TJ10 case in a all aluminum server style case with a removeable motherboard tray. The case can hold up to 6 hard drives and 4 CD/DVD drives. At its current setup there is enough room for one more CD drive as well as 4 more hard drives.

    SSD Drives
The drives I have are setup in the most economical way for me. The Vertex drive is one of the best drives on the market for the money. I have my OS on this one since its the faster of the two. The Core is a slower drive but due to the near 0 access time i still keep it around. Both GREAT drives, and both less than 4 months old.

    Water setup
The water setup in the case at the moment is about a month old. I have changed things out in the case so many times that its hard to even know whats what. I do know that of the 3 radiators 2 are less than a week old, while 1 is maybe a month old. The pump is about 2 months old, and the reservoir and tubing is all under a week old. All the fittings are Danger Den Fatboy fittings and all connections are installed with thread sealant, and then tightened with metal hose clams, none of that crappy plastic shit. The block holds up well, named one of the best blocks in its price range. All the lines in the case are top quality PRIMO line thats clear with a red coolant in it. Works great, and you can hardly hear the thing run.

    Overclock
Ok so the processor has been overclocked literally since the day I got it. Currently the clock is at 4.6 ghZ. It has been completely stable at this clock for over a few months. With the water setup I can run it under full load on Prime 95, OCCT, and Intel Burn and I rarely see temps over 75-80 degrees Celsius. System does blue screen when under certain Advantage tests, but I think its more related to Nvidia drivers more than anything. Either way it might blue screen on me once a month, but thats if im lucky.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. I have TONS of money in the machine and am asking what I think is right for it.

    Asking: $2,500
If you are interested in this computer and are up to date with everything you will understand the price...
thats all I am going to say about it

PS- Pics of everything should be updated and online by this weekend.

    Pics of Case:
    Old setup on air

Current water cooled setup in old Ultra case

TJ10 Case when I was moving everything over

Not a bad deal at all, it is however going to take a computer junky to buy this. Your average person won't know what this is and or what it's capable of. I do like the Zombiesque splatter paint job!

Anyways, good luck with the sale!!!

micro center. they run like $30-50 depending on how many fans and if you want temps. I got it just because I wanted to know intake and exhaust temps on my system when I was on air. Now I just use them to monitor the radiator and water temps more than anything.

Updated pics should be up tonight.

Also I know no one will probably buy it on here, but maybe someone knows someone else who knows someone looking for something like this. You never know

u can have it in a year when im on my i9. yes by then the base i7 might run you $600 but whatever.

also like I said before I know it wont sell on here. I have it listed on a few other sites. I dont need to sell it and honestly if I do sell it I will just build another one. I just enjoy doing it and right now there is a Corsair 800D case I would like to purchase, and a EVGA X58 board as well and cannot find it in me to get it when I have this perfectly good system here now.

If I can sell this one I will get the EVGA board, the 800D case and start another project.

but in a year this shit will be like the 775 Q9550 is now....sooo....you will be in the same boat. You will be saying good luck selling your i9 i'll wait a year and get that at $600 then as well...

either way yes you might be able to get a i7 920 in a year for the $600, but seriously good luck finding the processor alone. This shit gets changed so fast.

...i still dont get it...yes it changes fast, so why get a i7 when the i9 is out? thats like buying a Q9550 right now? It will be old and ready to be replaced by a new socket...

So you will buy a i7 when the new socket is about to come out making your setup obsolete and harder to find things for it in the future once something happens to it. Whatever. I would rather just spend the money, get whats out now and if something was to happen to anything just go to any store and be able to swap stuff out and not have to search for something.

Also if you think you can get a setup even close to this for $600 in a year you still are pushing it....Maybe a base i7 setup from Dell or HP, but nothing with SSD drives and a graphics card worth a damn or water cooled for that matter.

when work and school requires you to have the most up to date processing powers then you will understand. also when editing its a matter of waiting an hour to process video and 10 minutes. well worth the little extra to get the i7 now

This is a hell of a setup. I'm going with a very similar watercooled setup on my latest build.

I wouldn't consider blue screening even once a month lucky! Oh, well. There's no harm in it, anyway.

Have you benchmarked it? I wanna see some numbers!

I got a service plan on the gtx260. I think i am going to bring it back to the store in the next few weeks and get another 5850 so I can run dual 5850's. My brother has a 5870 so I could do dual 5870's as well but I still dont think the 5870's are worth the extra $100 so dual 5850's are possible in the future
