    Default 2006.05.06 AMS Champions Results

    All,

    Thank you for making this an excellent event. A little slowness in the morning from people getting used to a new venue and a mid-afternoon course change due to failing pavement held us back a bit... But, in the end everyone had an excellent time and the competition was truly fierce.

    Adam Breton again took top honors on the day, proving why he wears the #1 placard. In an extremely close fight, only 3 points really separated the next 3 places. Daniel Willie from BatlGround eeked out over Erin Sanford to take 3rd place, while Jon "Marty" Martin driving the R-Speed Miata managed to squeak by to pull away with the 2nd place spot. Both Jon and Daniel will be receiving contingency prizes ($500 and $250, respectively) for running Maxxis tires.
