I was there running the Green Turd KLZE Mx-3. I had a great time and was improving steadily, but I would have liked to have had a few more runs to see just how much better I could have gotten. I just installed coilovers last weekend and all I can say is whoa...I had so much more stability it wasn't even funny. Once I get used to the car again, I am gonna have some fun out there. Luke, was that your girlfriend who was also driving the MSP? She seemed to be having a dificult time finding where to go, but other than that seemed to do a pretty good job.

no, she wasn't my girlfriend. She used to drag race, so it's hard for her to modulate the gas around corners and such... Next event she'll have her r-compound tires and racing wheels, so she should do better.
What happened with your MX-3 that one run? Looked like it died or something.
I hated to miss the event. I was so pumped about it. I just got in my magnetic class letters and numbers, got me a good longacre tire pressure gauge, a new (legal) muffler to quiet my shit down. But, the god's of fate were not smiling on me. A little mishap with my car has me down for a bit. But not out, you will see the #46 sm blue 99 si back in action hopefully at the next event. I wanted to come out to watch and help in any way but got cought with a honey-do list and wasn't able to get there in time. I hope you guys had fun, it was a gorgeous day for it unlike the first event.
HAHAHA. That was the first time that I have run the car that hard with my new suspension and it was so bad ass that it slung my Mass Airflow Sensor off of my intake. LOL. I had the gas to the floor and it was doing nothing so I coasted across to break the timing light and got the hell out of the way as they were all screaming at me not to stop there. LOL. They thought that I was being retarded since I already had a DNF. I was like I wouldn't stop have stopped here if I could have helped it but at least I got out of they way so that I didn't get hit or hold people up.
The funny thing is when I test drove it the night before the event...my filter broke and fell out of my car. I think that it broke from banging against the frame of the car. Yeah, I need some kind of bracket. So at 11:30 Saturday night I had to find a filter...I found a POS Fram filter at Wally World that worked for the day.
Here is the picture of me tightening everything up to make sure that It didn't happen again.

not sure if you hear the guy over the PA system, but he was saying how your car didn't sound like a regular MX-3.... if they only knew![]()
I'll be coming to Atlanta to live this summer- I have been active in the Savannah and Jacksonville SCCA- So I hope to get into it up there too.
