I wish. The turbo went out shortly after the last trip to the drag strip, and my college student budget can afford to go spectate the race, but not fix the car at this time, haha.

Either way, you've got my cell so shoot me a text.

Unless the ALMS fairy leaves some tickets under my pillow tonight, I won't be able to make it this year.

So much damn rain. Sucks that it ended under red flag conditions. I wanted to see McNish redeem himself after that caution lap.

He wouldn't have, he's fast, but Peugeot is faster.

I was right in front of the spin. I was really hoping he'd catch them before that spin on 10b.

Uhhh, maybe in the dry, but given the weather, Audi had a pretty good lead during the wet stages of the race.

There was reasoning behind that though.

Peugeot is known to be a faster wet weather car too. Peugeot was there to win and they would have.

and they proved that by almost getting lapped by McNish in the earlier stages of the race.

    Lulz.

I hate to say it but Peugeot won fair and square (as square as French people can be), Audi had no grip at lower speeds in the rain it seemed.

    Fucking French.

BUT who cooked his tires and lost time, plus spun TWICE? I love McNish, but not Audi.

Yeah, so much for that one. I was interested to see how it would do.

He never 100% intended to race anyway, he said he was just going to show it off, maybe do a practice session or qualify, and POSSIBLY start the race just to see. He will be ready for Laguna Seca. A little more testing.

Eh... Both Audi's spun in the same place... Has to be more to it than just driver error.

Look I said Peugeot won... Take it and be happy.

I know I believe McNish is the Schumacher of sports car racing. He's an amazing driver, the torque of these diesel race cars I'm sure is insane and in the wet quite hard, Audi also doesn't have nearly as much testing and racing with the R15 as Peugeot has.
