I'm still watching qualifying lol, so a tad behind but did hear them say that there was a huge chance of rain, so I guess that answers that!

Hell yeah. I watch 125 and 250 but Motogp got rained out before the race even started.

What's your opinion of Toby and Jules?

Update....race says to be scheduled at 18:45 Eurosport 2 time so that means 1:45 pm for us.

The reason the race was postphoned was 2 reasons.
    1. The track is not homoligated to be run in the rain at night. It causes an extreme glare for the riders and the water will mist heavly on the visors causing less vision.

    2. The track became way to slippery even for the single wet tire compund used in Motogp. Remember, Michelin is gone and it is now a spec tire series. There is no more running the tires you want or even develop the tire around a specific bike. Now, you are developing the bike around the tire.

I thought getting rid of qualifers was a good idea but i realized that with them gone, it took away the excitement of the last ten mins of the 45 min session. In previous years, the last ten is what made qualifing so good to watch and unpredictable.

Here's Nicky Hayden's off in qualifing. He had to have gotten 6+ feet up in the air. Please don't turn into Marco Milandri this year Nicky *cross fingers*

Watched the 250 last night, decent start to the year. Can't wait for them to start the GP bikes.

Wow, I'm way behind the times. Since when is Hayden riding with Casey Stoner??? Last year I was rootin for Nicky to pound and pound on Hayden but it seemed like he had every single obstacle thrown in his way, and now he's on the same team??? =/ Oh well. And how is Hayden doin? (Gonna have to leave classes early and catch the race, lol... going home now.

Eurosport brought up something very important. Simoncelli (who was injured and couldn't race) won a physic battle yesterday because Bautista was the clear favorite.

This is likly to be the last year the 250s race. I feel the 2011 600 deadline will be pushed back to 2010.

So far not good. He's had barely any practice on the Desmo and at the end of quali yesterday, he had an insane high side.

Btw, Nikky needed to get away from Repsol. They are historically biased toward Spanish riders. (Remember Doohan/Crivile ?) And he's not been the teams #1 since 2007.

He's happy at the team so far but taming the GP9 will be the challenge of his career. Only Casey Stoner can do it imo.

hey do you have a link to where you watched the race? obviously i missed it on the tv since it got postponed. they showed the 2008 race in its slot instead.

too bad for nicky, that ducati will take some time to get used to it. stoner does an amazing job holding on to that monster especially as small as he is.

Spoilers for Japan (Watch it, it was gooden!)

What a race for Lorenzo to get by Rossi. It looked as if Rossi wasn't comfortable as he was doing gymnastics to get the balance through the corners but his fight with Pedrosa was the best of the race. I can't imagine Motogp without the excitement of Rossi.

Oh and Stoner.....what a terrible start so a 4th doesn't seem all that nightmarish.

I'll post results after i see the 250 race. I despise spoilers.
