It turns out I will be there now. A team out of Canada needed a mechanic, so you will find me wrenching on one of the cars next weekend.

How do you get on that list?! Whenever I was crewing and we needed an extra hand i'd give a friend a call....but i don't ever get those calls back

haha, i used to wonder the same thing, but it just started happening one day a few years ago and 1000 resumes later. some of it is word of mouth from team to team, some of it is the 1000 resumes I have out and some of it is me talking to everyone at the track making myself familiar and the rest of it is just plain hard work. This industry is extremely competitive, as it should be.
