1. OP wants to start "exclusive drift team"
2. OP fails.
3. People argue and ***** over **** that half of them havent experienced.
4. No one in here has any reputation for being around motorsports besides v-empire
5. Some people need to take their midol.
6. That waiver wont work.
7. Even if its allowed, you can still get arrested for wreckless driving on private property, only accidents on private property are ignored.
8. 240s are 99% of grass roots drifting for a reason.

id at least like to practice or atleast meet some fellow enthusiests before i make an ass out of myself, as ive said before im not the best. but most of those sights you gave me hold events all over... atlantas hardly on the list

Be it that many experienced people have made valid points... this is no longer for a practice... this will be a meet and nothing more, everyone is welcome i will find us a lot to meet in however... and thats not illegal... the meet will be on a Sunday as ive said before no dip****s no burnouts etc.
just logical people meeting new people learning **** they don't know and discussing **** they do know.

hopefully people can respect this decision and come out when i find a location for a large group... ill pitch in some money if others will and well bring out food and things of that nature.

i need to meet more car lovers besides the muscle heads and RICEBUCKETS @ bp.
SO anyone near Gwinnett keep an eye out ill post up a date and a google maps, map point.

im into drifting myself and id like to learn more, veterans id really appreciate it if you could come out.

Theres a southeastdrift.com meet and great at Malibu Grand Prix on the 19th. Go there and meet some people. There were 60 people at the last meet. Theres a southeastdrift.com PRACTICE day May 3rd in Greenville. ~1.5 hrs away. Your gonna have to drive a little bit to hit an event. Well worth it. Tickets for laying drag are a lot more than an event entry. Your new, people know that, you wont look like an ass. Anyone whos has even come to watch a practice days knows that cars spin out and sht all the time and no one looks twice. Stop trying to start something that wells established already. Theres a legit drift community but you have to step up.

drive! and get better... 75 bucks is cheap as hell compared to revoked liscensed, tickets, etc..... we had cops pull up to the event, and they end up riding shotgun with first timers and pros... in their uniform! they cant say shiatz... we even asks if the want to try the cop car on the track!!! its that fun.

drifters are very supportive and they will help and want you to get better.... we host these events so there will be more pro drifters coming out from atl. we want you to succeed!

LOL @ all of you for harassing someone with the ambition and motivation to learn something. Am I saying a drift practice with a group of unexperienced drivers is great idea? No....BUT there is not a single person here that has drifted competitively that hasn't practiced in a lot somewhere, both "legally" and illegally.

There's two options, practice in an unorganized manner with full liability on the driver or save up the $75 once a month or whatever for a sanctioned and legal practice by not spending it on gas "drifting" in a parking lot every sunday.

Four times a month with risk of personal injury & property vs. once a month (or two) legally with virtually no risk or liability and the chance to learn from experienced drivers. Personally the latter sounds a little more appealing.
