Cool!! I was just curious for E/T sake. I know the rules allowed for it . So, now it's the fastest IMPORT on slicks in GA. Congrats!!! Can't wait to see it race this season.

They also went 8.33@168 on DRs, has any import gone quicker than that on DRs in GA?

I heard Titan ran a 8.0 friday night in testing.
    they popped the motor.
I heard the poured the block full of concrete, and raced anyway.

The car was on 5 cylinders, and still managed several 8.50 runs.

Thats MVP's old supra isnt it? jared's old car?

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to post this.
Again, they bought a ROLLING chassis from MVP...ie NO engine or drivetrain. AAP built an engine, a complete drivetrain, tuned it and drove to a faster time on GAS that it had ever run before on methanol.
    What is your point?

    cool.
that car sat forever..they didnt do much with it...

glad to see someone did something with it.

they pulled it out for texas2k4 and it burst into flames and almost burned up on the starting line...

holding the trans brake for 90 seconds waiting to build boost will tend to heat the trans up.

but you knew that yous guys were there..

But they mostly ran drag radials right?

sounds like anderson did better with the supra than the marauders eh?

Sorry that was a different car (mostly) and a different owner. Since AAP rebuilt the entire drivetrain before they began racing it, and the new driveline+driver combo on drag radials and gasoline has handily outperformed anything that chassis ever did in the past on methanol and slicks.

Yes, AAP runs mostly drag radials during the regular NDRA season.

What are you talking about? A situation where a customer didn't follow recommendations on transmission upgrades or break-in instructions? What does that have to do with "Fastest GA Supra" thread in a "Drag & Brag" forum? If I didn't know better, you sound like a bit of a 'hater'.
