I'll probably be doing this as a grip driver. I don't have any dori dori friends, so I guess I'll just get matched up with someone? I'm sure there's more people who want to drift than grip given the state of things lately.
Sure... you can register strictly as a grip driver and IF you aren't able to find a teammate we'll pair you with one. OR... we'll try our best to let you decide from a list of Drift drivers.

Who are Matt and Erin? What kind of cars can we expect to see out there, is the registration list made public?

Supposedly we have a C6 vette coming out. Other than that, it'll be a nice mix of everything.Originally Posted by PacoX
The drivers list is in the 4th post of the following thread:

Chris my question to you is this; Being as I work for Drift411 now, as a "photographic correspondent", do I still need to submit a media application for events hosted by Drift411 (in a sense the organization that I'll be there shooting for)
If can get my car back on the road before then (and it's looking less and less likely, to be feasible) I'd like to be signed in my car. If that's not possible I'll still need to be put down as a driver, as I'll probably be doing laps in Harrison and Junius's Corolla's.
"Moreno's Restaurant has been confirmed to cater the event. They will be providing hotdogs, hamburgers, coke, cinimmon roles, coffee, etc throughout the day. Staff, VIP and media receive a 50% discount."
damn, 50% off, that's great news.
No Sir, you don't have to submit another. Matter fact, if I can get around to it prior to this event, all official Drift411 Media Personnel will have permanent media credentials.Originally Posted by estis fatuus
As long as you sign up as a driver/team mate, you can use whatever car you want. That includes borrowing Harrison's or Junius'. However, once you choose a vehicle, you have to stick with that vehicle for the duration of the comp(s).Originally Posted by estis fatuus
There's a good chance, we'll have a different vendor for this particular event. But media will still receive 50% off.Originally Posted by estis fatuus
I don't see how thats possible considering our very first event was only a month ago.Originally Posted by yudalicious
Chances are, you are referring to a SEDA event (which is who I used to worked for/with last year). If thats the case, then you will have to use that credit (or partial) at a SEDA event. This is a Drift411 event.
yea it was SEDA, but I think I spoke w/ you Chris. Anyway, I knew it was a long shot. Thanks.
Please tell me if you think my car looks good. But don't tell me if you think it's ugly - only on IA
I went and practiced some time attacks there a couple of weeks ago. It was fun. Sure the course has it tight places but I personally think this is going to be a very successful event.
I hope I can get signed up asap I am looking forward to this.
Track is pretty cool, should be good, I used to race karts there![]()
can I get a "discount" since I paid $60 for a previous event last year and couldn't make it and the idea of credit (or partial) towards a future event was thrown into the mix? lol long shot I know.
Please tell me if you think my car looks good. But don't tell me if you think it's ugly - only on IA
Our "Buy Now" buttons went off-line briefly. The problem has been corrected.
Yea, you probably did speak with me. If you have any problem with using your credit at one of their events (which I doubt), let me know. I'll do what I can to help.
Thanks Chris. It was really my fault, I missed the event and gave a very short notice, but just trying to save money whereever I can.Originally Posted by Rhoad Racing

are there going to be any open practice days before the event.

Then again I will want to get sideways too. We'll figure something out.

Certainty?.... afraid not.Originally Posted by Cool Cat GTR
If you have that many grip drivers, I would suggest asking around on the different forums in regards to drift teammates.
How long has this course been down there? I used to be around Barnesville all the time a couple years ago and never heard anything about a racetrack.

50+ years.
Up until a year old, it was rarely used. Once a month... if that.
** Team GTE has been added to the drivers' list **
more grip drivers than drift O.o. That simply shows we need more events at RA, TGP and Roebling.
iffy situation for me but I may be competing in grip rwd comp ... depends on if my car is tuned properly and the fenders are rolled for the volks by then lol.
Hopefully I will sign up this week.

We need at least 20 more teams, fellas. And time is running thin.
I dunna if I will pass tech.... it says no expossed wires.. but seing as how my car is totelly stripped I cant hide the wires under the body....
Its ok if you see the wires as long as the copper itself isn't exposed. So that shouldn't be a problem.
