dodges are a pos the only thing good in them is the cummins transmission sucks...i just traded in a damn near new dodge ram with less then 50k on it that was jumping out of reverse...that hemi didnt have any pulling power worth a shit and got 10mpg...i test drove a 08 cummins ram 2500 with 70k on it and it had more squeaks and rattles then a honda slammed on stock struts...go to ford right now the cheapest f250 up there is 44k...i just looked at them the other day... king ranchs are 65k dodge's resale value fucking blows...i seen old 7.3 01 model f250's selling for 15k for xlt/lariat models....Originally Posted by justnprsh07

According to Taketomi, true VIP style tuning is limited to only 10 Nissan and Toyota models: Nissan President, Cima, Gloria, Cedric and Fuga; Toyota Celsior, Century, Aristo, Crown and Majesta.

there are certain motors that people want... nobody can say a bad thing about any 5.9 or 7.3... but nobody wants a 6.0 or 6.4.... from the egr systems to head gaskets to vgt turbos and lets not even get started on the sheer difficulty of working on them... removing the entire a/c system or cab to get a head or turbo off of one... they should kill themselves for that bullshit... i paid 35,500 for my dodge... cummins, 6 speed, 4wd, 4.10 gears, lsd, power everything, dually, but w/ cloth interior... i put an a/c compressor, a clutch and brakes all the way around and there are 120k hard miles on that truck... easily half of those are towing 12k+ lbs... now i have personal experience w/ a 6.0... one of my best friends excursions... 2 sets of heads, multiple turbos, multiple sets of injectors, all oem ford parts... he hates that truck, but he needs the size for work...
bottom line, nobody but fools pay anything for 04 and up on the fords and my truck would bring 30k tomorrow if i wanted to sell it, this is to a dealer who has offered to but it several times, i just tell him its paid for and doesn't cost me to let it sit... just ask any dealer what they buy at auction, fords retail for alot because most need substantial repair to be able to retail them, so that factors into the price... dodges are worth more because of the reliablity... what somethings worth and what it sells for is two different things...
and just how many "horsepower hours" do you think that powerstroke has in it... anything is fast on "crazy larry" but that doesnt mean thats shits good for it... i would hook on to 15k lbs and drive across the country tomorrow in my dodge, i wouldnt want to get out of cell service range in a 6.0... just sayin'

all that is true for the 03 model and some 04's the 6.0 is a hit or miss some last some dont just like anything else...there's a few 500000 plus and MILLION miles 6.0's out there on the forums...and if someone will give you 30k your crazy for holding it...also im glad yall think i spend all my money on my stuff lol that why i flip things to make that extra 10k+ a year for "playing"
