track was really jumping today with over 200 bikes and 100+ cars is what the owner told me. There was some big money bike races one being for 5k. I guess im going to the dark side and gonna get me a 07 or 08 gsxr 1000 for my next drag bike...alot more aftermarket support kawasaki's dont have hardly any you gotta buy all the parts brand new usually.
my dog had cancer a long time ago- tumor the size of a softball. The vet said she had no chance and not to even try and save her. We had the surgery done for her and she lived for 6 more years. died when she was 18
Id have to agree with sean, animals are like children especially if your not able to have children of your own. If you treat that animal like your child- it wouldnt take anytime to have a great bond with it. a year is more than enough- gonna side with sean on this one. 8/

This past week, I decided to out of the blue, email the SpeedTV Network about their show called "Bullrun". I emailed them about a possibly opportunity to compete in their upcoming rally event, the Bullrun Rally USA 2011, and I was immediately responded to and have been speaking with Andy Duncan in regards to competing in this years rally.
They have seen pics of my car, and they want to have me and my father on the show, bad. They are even willing to help me find sponsors for the $20K entrance fee.
Question is, if you were to try to find sponsors, how would you do it, and who would you ask? I've sent about 20 emails so far, and more are sure to follow...

Wish they would but anyone can buy a dyno and not just anyone knows how to use it the right way so really its pointless bc there isnt anyone I know of that can tune fuel injected cars... There are some ppl that can make it run and get af right but takes someome that know what there doin "tunner" to make power. Would be better off letting teymur do that on the street to get it running then take it to a sh to have it reLly tunned.

last time columbus had a dyno it lasted about a month
there again bc there is nobody that knows what do do with it around here especially with an import.. there are however some that could do carbureted and nitrous v8s

I dont mind doing bodywork at all for friends and or well paying customers... But I dont half to like I use to so I choose not to and spend time with family and working on my own car, but should be in a new house and shop soon then ill be back to doing work

have fun, them days of getting dirty working on cars or working hard are over for me...well let me add to that. Im in the middle of changing the headgasket on my aunts bmw z3 cause a shop fucked her over and charged 2k to change it took almost a year to finish it. Then she drove the car for about 100 miles afterwards and it ran hot again and the same thing happen. Found a SMALL pin hole in the radiator that was the gremlin. But shes paying real good so thats the only way ill work on a car.
Yea if you dont have special tools to degree and align some parts it will never run right and if it got hot enough to blow headgasket its cheaper to replace motor... Been there done that and learned the hard way, it can work but will never last bc it messes up the treads in the block and head will lift
