Richs vw's have never disappointed. But youll be spending some hard cash for repairs

well i couldnt get a broke extended lug off my old ek one time so i drove it down the street with 1 lug till the wheel came off and it ripped the fender off...keep in mine this was 3 days after getting the car painted, so i had the whole car painted over again 2 times in a week...lol

6th tranny in my mkIII, 4th in my mk4.

Dominated two 'indestructible' quaife diffs.

Electrical issues here and there, but I never had a motor blow up or have anything major happen.

Over engineered, yes; call me old fashioned but I really don't prefer my car sounding like a tin can when I shut the door. If over engineering equals 250 lbs heavier than an Si, then so be it; can't run 22 psi on a stock K series....

the over engineering comment was aimed more at the BMW side of life

...and my integra does sound like a tin can when i shut the driver side door though - sad times

curse those sagging door hinges!
