Quick *important* question regarding F series motors:

Does anyone know what 5 spd trannys are compatible with the F23A1 motor out of like a 2000ish Accord? My buddy's auto tranny is going bonkers and is knocking on the front door of hell, so he wanted to do just the full manual swap. I'm guessing he could maybe get the complete setup out of maybe a mid 90's 5 spd F22 Accord? I know that would be reasonably easy to get my hands on, but I dunno what works. Motor info ownz me. Most of my knowldge revolves around that of sticker placement and teh dumpd ride height.

If anyone has any info on these bootleg motors I'd greatly appreciate it and might buy said person a cold drink perhaps.

Im pretty sure that the H series bolt up too.

I'm sure that all the f-series accord trans. will bolt up and possibly the H series since they are both doo doo trannys.

...okay, i have to rant... so i might as well start here.

I'm currently installing a prototype Aspen EFIS system in this 1965 Cessna 185 taildragger... i CANNOT find a "clean" spot to mount the AHRS/magnetometer anywhere on this thing...

its looking like I'm going to have to mount it out by the flux gate for his DG out in the wingtip... which will not be fun. And i don't think the cable i made is long enough...

stupid thursdays.
