the impeller was trimmed so it spooled faster. all that was done to his car when he raced that tt Z was 20lbs of boost, and open dump exaust, and that impeller. which is pretty sad considering he beat the z once, tied, once and got beat ( not badley) once lol. id go sell that Z if i got beat by a near stock srt 4

i know about that race. i was the guy on the ninja following them.

but the z hasn't had the break-in done to it either, and i think it would only running low boost of like maybe 12 psi.

not to mention the guy who drives it, didn't pay for anything that was done to the car, it was all handed to him.

oh ok yeah i took a class with him ...i asked him if he had had a tune and he said where can i get one! Yeah he is a col guy though he asked me to race him but i lost contact wit him! We went to his home and there was a black butler and when we asked for hunter he said "Sir Hunter is this way good sir" !

yea thats him. he did have a silver one with some kind of aftermarket hood. but he got rid of it, and got the black one, then had it TT'd.
i don't think he knows much about cars, just has an interest in them but doesn't work or buy anything he has.
his dad is handing him all the shit he wants really.

He had a silver one with a stillen cf hood that was painted and a stillen body kit with a stillen supercharger kit and it was automatic and he about traded devin for his cause he wanted a stick shift! Hunter said he had invested 100k in the car and it looked like it i mean everything was CF or fiber glass

100k? man, i don't know about all that. i don't even know if about the whole supercharger. i used to see him driving around all the time, and not once ever heard the s/c. it did have a aftermarket hood, and the body kit....not sure about that one either, i remember it being close to stock.

and who would try to trade a car with 100k dropped in it for a stock z? all cause its a stick shit?
i'm calling bs on that, man. doesn't make any sense.

i didn't know that, i never paid enough attention to it. i don't exactly hold high respect for those who don't buy what they have. if its handed to them, just means they didn't work for it.

i don't know, the 350z came with a rated 306hp/268tq, but i think thats rated at the crank. 370z is rated at 332hp/270tq at the crank. so about 25hp more, but i don't know what the trans gears are setup like. i know the 370 is .2 liters higher over the 350.
i've never seen the 2 cars lined up against each other, i'm pretty sure the 370 would take the 350, but i don't think it would be by much.

Putting the Sting Back in the Z -- 0 to 60 In 4.7 sec. and the Quarter Mile in 13.3 sec. at 105.7 MPH

Low thirteen in the 1/4 prob would go 12's STOCK on slicks. Awesome car imo its also 100 lbs lighter

that would be with a good driver though too. never said it was a bad car, just like to see a run with the 2 cars against each other.

clay, the numbers i posted were SAE crank hp/tq.
not the dyno'd numbers.

The 370 is pretty nice...the one I drove handled really well, and the synchronized shifting is incredible...but I doubt any of us could get it to run a 13.3 @ 105 stock...or hit 12's with slicks...and thats not even saying our driving sucks, thats just because of the climate down here, and the lack or track prepping...

Reminds me have you been to Steele since they re-paved it??? It hooks REALLY well. I can cut 2.0-2.1 sixtys on street tires all day

we'll see how long that holds up though. i know a lot people will go over there and unknowingly be dripping oil/water and shit all over the track, its why i always ran sucky times. my old civic i would bark 3rd on their track but couldn't do it on the street.

nor could i hook well on the hole shot.
