I think it depends on what music you listen to. For most it's rap, and like most people tend to do is go over board.

I hate how much they weigh. Shit is HEAVY. But two 10"s are enough for me while still keeping it balanced and not drowned by bass :rolleyes:

People need to get a grip when you're bashing subs....

Many natural sounds and instruments produce sound at frequencies lower than regular component speakers can accurately reproduce (especially at any decent volume level). You need a sub in a properly sized enclosure to accurately reproduce those lower tones in order to create an rich listening experience.

i don't think anyone bashed subs. just those big ass rattle your fuckin teeth out ones.....

i love a good quality 10 to bring out some sound. but 12's and bigger are just to much for me.
