    i saw those a while back in pictures on a Z33. I would definately guess that you couldnt' go doing some serious track time or mountain running, lol i'd be afraid i'd melt my wheels lol

    there is nothing rotating on the plastic, i don't see what would make them melt

    are you just saying from the friction on the road from the tires?

    heat from the brakes on a mountain run, or a track day, MIGHT warp the polycarbonate

    Like i said, its a cool concept. Maybe for a car that wont see much driving at all. but IMO a waste of money. that $20k coulda had that Z running quite fast and sitting on some nice wheels

    yeah. thats what i wanan do. take my wheels off everytime i go to wash the car.

    its cool to use just one for a show or something if you had a really nice brake/suspension set up. other htan that. forget it.

    made of lexion hi grade acrylic. stuff doesnt stick well to it. thats what there making a lot of helmet visors out of so they wont fog up or scratch easy.
