    Default Yaris One-Make Race

    Just a couple pics from the Toyota Yaris One Make Race that takes place in Thailand. Bira International Circuit is where it takes place and the requirements are pretty strict. Kind of like Spec Miata. Anyway, enjoy.

    No it's the 24hr of Thailand race. Instead of seeing who makes it to the finish line first, all of the cars that are able to complete 1 lap in 24 hrs are considered winners.

    The Yaris/Vitz actually replaces the Echo, but who knows? I mean, they have one-make races for a lot of cars. MR-2's, Miata's, Yaris's, Trueno/Levin's, lots of stuff. People will race what they have, no matter what it is.

    Here in the US we have a ton of spec/Cup classes for considerable slow (when stock) cars. Spec Neon, Spec Miata, SE-R cup.....etc... They are classed to be low budget "drivers race" series. In Japan the Vitz RS cup is hugely popular, and very fun to watch. the races foster Talented drivers as opposed to heavy wallet teams. Haha in Newzeland / Australia they even make a one make for my car, AW11 cup
