this a build that i have been working on =)
this is dans car GGPSI3.
well a few days ago dan blew his tranny. well we are rebuilding the bottom end and new tranny, dan can let out the specs if he likes, check back for new pics as the build goes on =)
the old motor is still in the car while the new motor is being built <note to all =)

motor is VVTI, different then the 2jz-ge you find in NA supras 97 and below and sc300's

shit lookin good...lol..never heard dan talk about work....ever...guess he just has it good?lol...
not trying to pass it off as a gte... its still a ge by all means but with gte internals... gte headgasket, gte oil pump.. gte fuel pump... hmm.. i think thats it... maybe a few other small gte parts but for the most part... still a ge motor. i do play on getting a gte style intake manifold eventually.. but yeah, not trying to pass it off as a gte by any means.
lol.. more like very good money management. i havent worked for about a year.. but im looking for a job right now.

but yeah.. wasn't planning on doing this so soon since i haven't worked in so long.. but when friends are ready willing and able to help, can't say no.. haha

now buy a supra shell, -thats pretty badass tho
why buy a supra when u have a is300 =)

Hey dan, How well do you expect your traction to be once your finsihed with your new setup? Do the Is300's have decent traction? Better or worse than a supra? Just curious

it wasnt that bad on the old setup and shoundnt be that bad after this new setup, hes got 2 different kind of wheels/tires the DD and track/race tires, he should be good to go plus his turbo will max out at around 600 hp so dont know how far he can go
what do i need a supra shell for? although it would be nice, its unnecessary.. just another cost.
eh.. no idea.. i know a few guys are running with racelogic trac control and have had pretty good luck so far.... so i might have to get that if it has trouble hooking.. but i dont plan on building a drag car. i want an all around car. a car that looks good to most people, not all, a car that can hang or beat exotics, maybe give a few 600cc bikes a run, a car that can handle in the twisties and brake on a dime. thats the goal. will i ever accomplish it is a different story.
