2003 audi A6 awd with 2.7 liter twin turbo.

Has 250hp/258tq... but this with ONLY an ecu= 325hp/385tq, lol

It is going to be hard to use self control.... especially with bolt on 500hp for less than 6K... This engine is like the european supra motor, lol. I purposely bought an atomatic to help hold back modding it.... and it is heavy.

no, it's already got the audi 2.7 twin turbo. This thing is a beatsly motor. the car is really too heavy and big to be a performer. It does handle well for it's size though. AWD helps alot.

I love that engine...if i ever blow the 1.8T im dropping one of the 2.7TT in there. Twin K04/K16 Hybrids, or just go all out and do like twin GT2871R like the guy over on AudiZine is with his S4

WOW. That is wrong in so many ways.

First the continiously variable transmission is not on his car(I don't think.)

Second quattro implies all wheel drive.

Third the 2.7T is a quattro.

Also, isn't the 3.0 liter both quattro and CVT?
And are you saying the 3.0 is better, because it has less horsepower and torque?

stupid! yes there is CVT. no they cant be both retard. and no i never said 3.0 is better, i wish my dad got a 2.7t but he didnt.

"quattro implies all wheel drive" <- i own a A6 audi? i would think i know what quattro means! and my family has owned over 10 audi's since im born..

dont know if you all know the 1994 Audi V8, my dad bought one new back in 1994, very rare and awsome audi, was replaced with the A8..

also the 3.0 is still a great car/engine. prolly more reliable. I will only chip this car for now... go from 250hp/258tq to 325hp/385tq, lolz pretty damn good gain for 500 bucks.... hence the reason I got the 2.7t

i tried everything to get my dad to get the 2.7T... the 3.0 quattro is slower than the 3.0 CVT but i would still pick the quattro.. because it handles amazing and the diffrence in speed arent that big. and im glad you got a 2.7t, and not any other engine.. best A6 engine for sure imo

i would pick a 2.7T manual over a S6 tiptronic, the manual 2.7T is 0-60 in 6.0 seconds.. and 1/4 mile of 14.7. before chip

Okay, gotcha. My mom had an A6 2.8 Quattro. My sister has an A4 2.8. Nice cars maintenance prices are fucking ridiculous and there is always something wrong with them. Some are less tempermental than others.

And yes you are right about the CVT quattro thing. I could have sworn 3.0's were quattros cause we had one at my house as a loner. But we have had a lot of audis at my house as loaners so I guess I got confused.

14.7 seems a bit ambitious in this 3800 lb 250hp car. It is pretty peppy though and a great road trip car. Ride is smooth and comfy but not like a buick/caddy... precise and german feeling but not like a stiff sport suspension feeling.
