Default Who drives that Laguna Seca blue '76 2002?!?!

    I do. Bitches.

Painted it today. Got rid of all the rust and all of the agave green.

The gun was only making a very small fan so it took about an hour to spray the whole thing but it looks good.

Can't wait to get it on the road again in the next couple weeks on those gold BBS.

EDIT: For comparision alot of people said my color was off. I think its pretty close compared to this:

I gotta get my 510 over to my aunts house so me and Justin can do all the body work and prime it.....and possibly ask nicely for you to paint it.

Ingmars car needs to be fixed before any paint added to the rust

In dahlonega? I ate at that zaxby's last sunday on the way to brasstown bald. Lots of hot cars a couple NSX's and some Lotus's up there.

Anyway all my trim is going black on the bmw. I already put the emblem on to see how it would turn out. Nice contrast.

The orange peel isnt TOO bad. I mean you can tell but its so thick on the top of the car, in a couple weeks the wet sanding should take some out. If you saw the car before with the rust spots compared to now it looks a hundred times better, not showcar better, but better for sure and thats all I wanted for my daily.

Hymm. I like the green, had a very classic look to it. Can't wait to see how it turns out though, are you keeping the yellow headlights?

The green sucked. Is was a shitty paintjob plus the rust blew ass. And yeah I'm keeping the yellow.

Alright, I put it in the backyard to cure today. It's about 90% done. I just need to put the mirrors/trim/side markers back on, get the glass in and the door panels in, and wait on all the new stuff to come in.

I swapped in the beige Recaro front and rear seats but I don't have the headrests yet so I had to use my old black ones.

I think it looks better on an old car than the new m3. This car is more of a toy anyway and with that color to me it looks really old. The m3s with it look like 60k cars with a little boys room color.

    2.0 l sohc 4 cyl. About 110 hp stock.

I'm building a 2.1 10 to 1 compression motor with a schrick cam/ACL bearings/Mahle pistons/Tii exhaust manifold. Thats going in probably like Jan or Feb.

I have a weber 32/36 and ansa exhaust on there right now and with everything on the new motor I should be around 150 whp. The car weighs 2020 pounds with me in it. So that should give you an idea. AutoX and mountains is what I may do with it if I do any events, mainly its just my daily thats going to have a little more balls.

You can do early model 3 series v6's in them and then e30 M3 swaps go in but for the price to double ratio I should be up there running with the stock m3 swap guys anyway. I'm revving to 8k too you know.
