    2.0 l sohc 4 cyl. About 110 hp stock.

I'm building a 2.1 10 to 1 compression motor with a schrick cam/ACL bearings/Mahle pistons/Tii exhaust manifold. Thats going in probably like Jan or Feb.

I have a weber 32/36 and ansa exhaust on there right now and with everything on the new motor I should be around 150 whp. The car weighs 2020 pounds with me in it. So that should give you an idea. AutoX and mountains is what I may do with it if I do any events, mainly its just my daily thats going to have a little more balls.

You can do early model 3 series v6's in them and then e30 M3 swaps go in but for the price to double ratio I should be up there running with the stock m3 swap guys anyway. I'm revving to 8k too you know.

i love the color. it tends to vary in the aftermarket though from batch to batch and brand to brand, but not by much. The light really changes it around, see below compared to the camera and lighting you had when you took those above curing shots

^ I agree the light plays with it alot. Its lighter than yours but compared with the m3's its spot on in some and too light in others.

Yeah the automatic turbo from japan. That car is real ugly. Somebody butchered it pretty badly. Especially the interior.

Kevin, as far as those other swaps go. With the month or so this car was down with me doing body work it sucked. I just wanted to drive it. Since I have spare motors and the parts to build a pretty hot one are so cheap I'm going with that. Plus, there is like 2 days downtime just swapping in the new motor and then working the bugs out. I have so little money in this car but the fun I get out of it is waaaay more than any car I've owned.

I'm still thinking seriously of getting rid of the teg for a DD and 2002. I just about know exactly how i want every little detail done on it...from air jacks to digital gauge cluster to maybee an M20 turbo

yeah but mine can also look soft too like the m3 pic above.

and then when i was painting it.

hell there was panels that were fucking with my head in the light thinking i didnt cover them enough because they were lighter, mainly the side trim, and then i just said fuck it and when i pulled it out, it was all the same shade. lol

M20 turbo. Kind of a waste in my opinion. You could do a m10 tii fuel inj setup with 8to1 non-tii pistons and rings with a t3/t4 and make more power for cheaper, way cheaper.

But since price is no concern to you with the air jacks and digital dash....

SPOOLIN, that picture of your car in the front outside looks just like mine. Mine never looks as dark as yours does inside though. Pretty cool.

well, the AP racing air jacks i want have been sitting new in the box at the shop for years and now have no plans to be used but the digital gauge cluster is a stretch...$1,600 new but can find one alot cheaper used that someone has upgraded. If i spend enough time looking i'll find one at the price i would want to pay plus by the time i priced out all the VDO gauges i would want and the time it takes to cut & mount into the dash i'd be fabricating it comes out just about the same...and data output and storage would be fun to have

I know the M10 is relatively cheap and easily obtainable but was thinking the M20 could be built alot better. Seen the orange 2002 with the M20 2.7 stroker turbo in it?

Seen it all. Yeah I mean these cars are pretty fun when you have a little money spread out through them. I just wouldnt dump a shit ton of money into a car that you'll out live.

Plan is to salvage what i can from other cars or wherever and nearly all the fabricating will be done myself. The engine is still up in the air... depending on what's available when the time comes for the best deal, most power, reliability, etc. Whatever's under the hood it's still gonna be a blast to drive.

interesting, was gonna say if it was a 3 stage then that would help explain the extreme color differances in differant lights.

There's an E60 at my office that's a dark metallic brown and i can't seem to find a name or code or even pics of it...thinking it would be an interesting color on a 2002 w/ the right wheels, flares, and custom bumper.
