speaking of function over form, taking that intercooler out would probably give you a good bit more throttle response and maybe a little more hp. The pressure drop on that thing must be like 2-3 psi on that blower.

Josh, i know you are well educated with the Honda crowd, but, the JRSC on the Miata is mounted what we refer to as "hotside", meaning the s/c is NOT taking place of the intake manidolf like 99%of the other kits using roots blowers do. With the stock crossover tube, intake temps can reach upwards of 300*F. So in that case, i'd take 5psi of cold air vs 8psi of hot air. Intake temps are cool enough to bring the temp of the intakemanifold itself close to ambient. Thus my justification of the intercooler. Throttle response isnt so bad either... boost is there as soon as i touch the pedal
Not to be an ass, but i dont know how much Mazda stuff you know... but if you knew any of that..well, i just took 5 min for nothing lol. I did need that bumper to allow the intercooler i wanted to run and help get more air to the radiator. I will be getting the flaired/agressive side skirts and a new wing to go with it soon

and for your supra, blame your BOV installation the fact that you cant drive and you ran into a median because you couldnt handle the less than 400 whp your auto supra made? or how about last year when the ran off the road because you couldnt handle the raw HP that beast had stock...
as far as an 18.3 second run, tank you're full of shit. I ran a 16.3 at reynolds condisdering my car is COMPLETELY stock engine wise and runs 15.7 with a professional driver... thats not terribly bad for a car thats never had the clutch replaced or wires or plugs in over 100,000 miles. Never claimed to be fast.
as for you mike, your car is bad. don't get me wrong. its a nice miata, but if I was sponcered I wouldnt let them put orange vinyl all over my metalic green miata. shits goofy looking. but yeah, Allison's integra isnt the best looking integra out there and she nows this. she has plans to repaint it as well as some other stuff so calling her car rice because she purchased it with a shitty yellow paint job doesnt give credit where it is due, shes a college kid.

ok so you win, I will be honest and say that R81 (or whatever) is a nice looking car but they colors arent exactly the same, I like the mazada le man's car better. Shows how little I know about Mazda.never really cared. however i was always a fan of the pearl one w/ gt3's. as for tank, we will never get along because he is too damn ignorant too look past my car at me and gave me all kind of hell about my car when he was still in Xlr8shen. And for the paint not being the same.. that was the idea... since the miata isnt a 787B, it shouldnt look exactly the same. Mazda North America did a new Miata like this (my inspiration) and the green and orange was more like what i have... THE MAZDASPEED NC clicky here
