Default Built a 4 point rear strut bar this weekend

yup....i used the the mounts that bolt to the shock towers from one of those cheap ebay strut bars. It was alittle too tall for my liking so i chopped about an inch out of the height. It also seemed sorta flimbsy so i added a horizantal support on the inside. Fabbed the rear mounts out of thick flat steel. The tubing was .75 OD with .15 wall thickness. I'm going to repaint it this weekend. The paint got messed up because i had to leave and it wasnt all the way dry yet lol. Just took these pics a second ago with my camera phone.

i would cut the body from aorund the bolts that are holding the strut bar dwn to get spre tire out then spot weld it back in so i wouldnt have so much to cut out next time.

lol. I alway have tools with me so taking it out if i have a flat is no problem. But im sure i could just slide the spare towards the front of the car and get it out that way.

Looks nice, how much would you charge to do a 4 point where it crosses over then goes back to the fire wall and bolts in? S13 coupe? in all seriousness if you were to make a few I'm sure you could sell the shit out of them.

i meant to specify that i was referring to front wheel AND front engine cars. the rear of a car is pretty solid/stiff as it is (no giant open space where the engine goes).
