Well im new here. im 16 and live in villa rica, i go to villa rica high and here is my civic
my dad owns autobargains inc on tara blvd in jonesborough. it's right next to the chic-fil-a.
anybody else here around villa rica.

well im 16 so kind of on a budget. i'm installing a head unit in it this weekend, 2 12's and a 1000watt amp
exterior gonna drop it a couple inches, lip kit front and rear to match the skirts, couple decals...
cold air intake, and some other little things under the hood.
all of this will happen slowly though because like i said all the money i make goes into gas, insurance, ect.

clean - i agree with you, lose the red wipers, stick with black, and keep two of them lol - keep an eye out on the rides posted on here, you'll see some reallly clean civics - take tips and pointers from their styling, stay away from anything aluminum or euro or tacky, or anything bought @ Autozone or WalMart or Nopi, and you'll be cool with us
also if you ever feel up to it, maybe paint your interior trim back to black ( unless you're REALLY going somewhere with those red door handles ) - just constructive criticism

anyway, it'll be in my dad's shop most of the rest of this week, getting some general stuff done. new spark plugs/wires, fluids change, new head-unit and my system is getting installed by his stereo guy, gonna have it detailed.
something needs to be adjusted in the tranny, it doesnt catch reverse all the time. takes a couple tries.
some other little mechanical stuff will be done this week, then after that we'll just do stuff when i can afford it.
it'll come along don't worry

Probably did, that's where it was repoed from I think. my dad bought it from an auction. thats why i want to lose the red stuff in the interior... I didn't do it and im not really feeling it

a good taillight conversion to go with is the 99-00 all u have to do is get the trunk from a 99-00 switch it with urs and switch the tail lights thats what i did i prefer those over the 96-98 tailsright now for exterior i just wanna slam it and clean it up a little bit.. new headlights/tails and a lip kit. my headlights are all foggy and theres a civic on my dads lot with some clear ones i think we're gonna switch for those until i can get some nice aftermarket ones.
and i do want to put the si tails on there.

all good but drop the decal part maybe ia sitcker thats all to be honest. ( makes u look ricerish) and/ or doesnt give it the clean look. but thats my opinoin.

off the wall question but does anyone know if 01 headlights would fit a 97? If they do I have an aftermarket set here in black. They probably dont fit but im just making sure.
my buddy bought them for his civic but sold it before he put them on.
I doubt they will fit the fenders, bumper, and hood are different so highly unlikely. Definetly change the taillights like everyone else said. Heres a link to where you can get some oem parts at good prices it will come in handy if you wanna convert to 99-00 front end too.

Thanks and yeah i searched around and the headlights arnt gonna work. Anyway, I'm dropping the car off tomorrow before i go to work to have my system put in and headunit installed...hopefully they dont charge me out the ass when they see how crappy my wiring is. gonna put some door speakers in it too.
after that gonna swap a battery from another car on my dad's lot, mines not bad but it seems a little weak.
so after all is said and done i'll have new door speakers, new head-unit, 2 12's and a 1000watt amp in the trunk.
not sure where im dropping it off, somewhere in jonesboro...I have a place in mind but not sure where it'll go.
I just want to update you guys on what happened with this car. I put probably $500 into it, then 2 days ago my title finally comes from the auction.
201k miles on the title, 130k on the odo...Ran a carfax on it (finally) severe front end damage in 98, flood damage in 03 and thats all that was actually reported no telling what else it has been through.
Anyway, long story short my dad convinced the auction to take it back for what we paid.
I was kind of looking forward to fixing it up and everything, wasnt meant to be i guess
anyway, from the cash i got from the auction, some i had saved, and a little bit more from my dad I have 4,500 to find a decent car within the next couple days
