basically to get a computer in you car you either need a laptop or a small custom computer. then i got a tv that had vga input and 2 video inputs on it so that i could connect the computer and ps2 to the tv. then it just took some time to find the right connectors to make everything work. hopefully that answers some more of your questions, and you if have any more, feel free to ask meOriginally Posted by mr_turk3y
Yeah, cool man. Let me know when you want to. Sorry for the delayed response. I forgot about this thread until something reminded me. LMK when you want to. I want to see this thing up close.Originally Posted by ProjectWidow

thanx man. i cant hook it up to the internet yet, but im trying to see how i can use my cellphone to do it. the laptop is hooked up to a power inverter for power and the vga screen. let me know if you have any other questionsOriginally Posted by jrobbins30041
anybody else getting red x's?Originally Posted by Dave
will do, thanks
i want to see it in person, i know how to do everything involved myself but i have never messed with it because i was always concerned with the software side of it.
looks very nice and professional. great job with the install.
:boobies:
the computer has an adaptor that goes into the playstation. they're not that expensive. check circut city or best buy or somewhere like that. then throw in your monitor and fabricate a mount for a ps2 like his and mout it all and connect it then your ready to jam.
Man You MUST be fast,
Cause you were HAULIN' ASS!
whan i passed you..
That's pretty sweet man. I used to have one in my talon it was smashed when I got rear-ended (along with my poor car ) So what are the system specs? what are you using for input, touch screen?
we can meet up after i came back from florida. the software side really isnt that hard part. at least not yet.Originally Posted by Spyder Man

i just reuploaded the pics so they should work now. im using a power inverter to source the computer, 2 screens and playstation. email me any questions you have at [email protected] also name a time and place and i can probably meet up with you and show you it in personOriginally Posted by Boost67p
A power inverter, isn't that noisy? I have an opus solutions power supply. It's made for carputers, DC/DC (I think or whatever type of power cars produce...hehe I'm no electrician) power inverter with some extra features (like it will power th computer down if it senses your battery voltage dropping too low. But then again when I had my carputer, it was just the computer no playstation, so I guess you would need the inverter for that. btw if anyone wants that power supply I'm selling it.
nope, no extra nose. the only time i hear any noise is when i power the inverter off listening to music you hear like a pop. i have heard some problems with the opus making noise. mine is wired directly to the battery through a relay if that makes a difference between yours.Originally Posted by SilverJester
