i should have my car painted in about a month and the turbo next summer if not i will have the turbo on before i paint it what do you think would be better to do first

Whatever you think takes priority. Me personally, I'd concentrate on the motor first then the body. B/c if it's got a weak motor, I could care less about the stupid body kit on it. But then some people only care about appearances and don't care about the motor. Whatever works for you.

I say turbo...but I think I'm biased. I say go before show. That's just me. See the thing is you can trick ppl. You can put the turbo on and make it fast before you paint. Then once everyone realizes the Supra with the no paint job is fast...you can't paint it and will be a whole new surprize for everyone

trick nuttin its a Supra but still go with turbo first

I was just saying that ppl will first know the car without paint...then once it gets paint it will be like a whole new car. We did the same thing with our 240 when it had almost 500whp. First it was like 4 colors. Everyone got to know the 240 with the mismatched paint and to stay away from it. Then we painted it. It was like a whole new car. All of a sudden we were getting races in it again...but that was short lived.

the lip is big enough, my spacers are going to be here tomorrow, and i am getting a turbonetics single turbo kit for a nonturbo motor, it is the only turbo kit i could find for the nonturbo motor, and the only reason i got a non turbo in the first place is because of insurance, i have to many speeding tickets so the non turbo was a lot cheaer for insurance if i do it this way they will not know about it

i am hoping that my car with be completely finished in about two months three months tops, it would be sooner but i just bought a house and i am in the process of moving, but i will keep eveyone posted with pictures and also i did do the bodywork myself, it took me three days and i have more pics of the bodywork getting done if anyone would like to see them

looks good man...what color are you gonna go with when its done...i'm doing pretty much the same thing on my MR2 but with the TRD widebody and i've already got the turbo swap done...the two would look good together, somewhat similar lines

I hate body work! Congrats on doing that shit yourself. Dan and I and a couple of other ppl tried to do our 240. It turned out ok, but it was hard as hell. Now I know why body shops charge so much!!!

shitty pictures, these are of when i first got the car, but you can look at pretty much any MR2 with the trd widebody and see what it will look like when done.

the kit when complete...but i'm going with black
