try maguiar's scratch x- for plastic, it is pretty good at getting off the oxidation on cf and headlights, worked for my lights & my boys cf hood.

The glaze would be on the surface of the hood. Sanding with very high grit (probably wet sand), sound get rid of the glaze and not scratch up the CF weave. Then have a a good amount of clear shot on, and then wet sanded for a mirror like finish.

Jeez, guess you guys can't take a joke. I'm not hating on the car, because my FWD Corolla is basically the same type of family sedan. I just like to get you Honda boys worked up.

How much power are you putting down? I'm actually in the process of building a 4agte which should put down ~240whp, so once the car gets done, we can make those mountain runs happen.

I figured you where just honda hatin or whatnot, thats cool.... whateva.
There's a lot of people that drive honda's and they can get a little over exposed sometimes... so i can see why someone wanting to tune a corolla would like to try and poke fun at the H badge..... try is the key word here though.
As far as our cars being the same type of anything....uhhh thank again bro. Have you ever heard of an Accord SiR? Sorry, They are NOT just family sedans. If not, The SiR was started in '94 and its only been sold in Japan.
This is the 5th gen version of the SiR:

It came with 2.2 liter Vtec DOHC H22 put out about 200hp at the crank from the factory with a LSD and double wishbone suspension all the way around.
Basically that's what i have built. I took a 96 ex COUPE and dropped a 95 JDM H22 w/LSD and did a Manual conversion. It has Volk TE37 wheels, Tein SS coilovers, Cusco front and rear Strut bars, Cusco front under tie bar,SS rear sway bar, DC rear tie bar, SS goodridge brake lines brembo, hawk, etc etc......

I haven't put the car on a dyno yet, but its probably about 170 @ the wheels. BUT power isn't everything... especially in the curves my man!!

OH btw Honda/Mugen Didn't think it was a family car either, nor did there competition..... Japanese Touring Car champs 96 and 97, Here' teh 97 champ:
