Default A few pictures from the Drift Event at Turner Field 3/4/06

I was there by accident today. I wasn't planning on going and didn't even know about it until a friend pulled over to meet someone near by. I had the camera on me, and I was like hell I never shot anything like this with my D70.

hey dean, what do you think about the D50. I'm thinking about getting one of those pretty soon, do you think I could get some shots like those you got with the D70? Very nice pics by the way.

Of course, the D50 is a great camera missing some features of the D70, but nothing that wouldn't allow you to take these kinda pictures. The only difference is I was using the new Nikon 18-200mm VRII lens, which you can buy as well but the lens is $750. If you buy the D50 kit package, make sure you get the Nikon 18-55mm lens vs the Nikon 28-80 lens. The 18-55 build quality and quality of the picture is better than the 28-80. You will notice there will be a price difference between the 2 D50 kit packages. The D50 kit plus the 18-55 lense will be more expensive.
