    Default My new Miata

I know a few of you will recognize this car. It belonged to a longtime member of IA for years. He took excellent care of it and I am overjoyed to get into a different aspect of the car scene away from Hondas. I put my rotas on it and I have lowered it a tad from where it sat when I got it. I don't hate the slips on it, but I really don't think they are doing the car any justice. I haven't put much thought into plans yet, but anything I do will take time as I am far from liquid in my assets at the moment. Any suggestions are welcome.

In all seriousness... I like the slips. Maybe it's just because it's something different then what I've had. But I can honestly say IMO they look good.

That is amazing, IF you keep the sticker on it.

I never had the patience to wait for a special tag. I went up to the office today and got mine transferred over and to my dismay you now have to pay 7% of the car's value to the state to get a tag. Oh well.

Good thing I bought my new car for a dollar.

LOL J/K. But isn't that the "new" one-time tax and you never have to pay the "birthday" tax again?

Yes, but for some reason paying 18 bucks a year was so much easier than paying 180 all at once.

Kevin.... really? I can't believe you did that! After all she has done for you...being all reliable any everything for your long drive recently

That is one SOLID car for sure, I would know

Congrats on taking on something different, just don't be expecting it to be fast...but one drive in the mountains will cure that. Leave the slips, they look good on there.

Yeah I know... But needing to haul my kids around became more important. Every time I've needed to get the kids somewhere and my wife is gone with the mini-van, my work truck is a pain in the ass to unload, re-load plus usually the trailer is attached. Time to be practical...

Well, as practical as I can be.

I find nothing wrong with the Miata, its just as common as a Integra or Civic, the fact that two honest guys traded their cars for something just slightly different is cool.

Drove up Friday night, then went straight to Pawleys Saturday morning to help my parents unpack. And then left first thing Sunday morning. I had zero free time. I'll definitely hit you up next time I come through.
