Here are some pics taken on May 30, 2002 at the Lanier Honda car show up on GA 20 in Buford. Don't remember if you were there, but everyone else was. Most of PI (including Tousma bringing his in on the trailer (lolol)). Later, QD.

lol.. some old shit right there.
haha I remember the blue Integra - I ALWAYS saw it at my local Kroger.
As for the WTN photo, the CRV in the far left I recall always seeing at my high school ( I was a sophmore ) picking up a sibling, and or driving into the neighborhood next to mine.

I found a few from the '01-'02 years

Yeah, that is true - I recall actually talking to the guy in the Cingular booth about his car back before I had my license. I really liked it for the fact that it was baby blue
I always remembered trying to figure out what the hell was in the back of the CRV. Turns out they were subs

Also, I remember the blue Eclipse GST? I think it was that had the Supra taillights grafted in the rear.
From what I've heard, the next owner of the car really screwed it up
It was actually these cars that started to get me into the import scene.
Hell, first modified import car I ever sat in was after a football game @ CHHS. It was a '99? Civic SI ( SI blue as well ) with racing seats, the rear seats gone and replaced by a custom fiberglass enclosure of 4 12" subs? Guy liked Korn a lot, had mirrors on the underside of the hood.

Damn. Brings me back to days when cars were built with creativity and not slapped together with useless expensive "jdm" parts for the purpose of taking pictures and collecting internet nutswingers, all the while creating a false sense of accomplishment and egotistic bullshit, behind the expensive, useless "jdm" parts.
That white lude isnt bad at all...

You know what's crazy, Julizzle? And someone asked this earlier in this thread...about where are these cars now. Just about everyone of the "classic" IA cars were sold off by the builders/owners to young kids with mommy/daddy's money. And every single one of these kids with these cars (no lie) killed the cars. Not one of those cars every looked the way it did before sale date ever again. Later, QD.Originally Posted by Julio

Steve Is the name I was thinking of that had the same color car as Josh. Patrycia still has her Supra. I believe Hill's car is gone. I have a pic of Nitro's first car...pre-IA, lolol. But of all the cars that were sold off in that list, none are still on the road or in near as good condition. Later, QD.
I remember that show, Gary in parts help to get the show at my old work. I use to b a tech there. I miss those days...
What about pics from the Burrell tire shop days in Duluth off of buford hwy..
See this is the stuff I grew up seeing when I was little. I would be riding in the back seat and see them drive by (not these cars but in my town) and admire how awesome they were.
Then, when I finally get a car, the scene shifts to JDM.
...And now I don't fit in at all, haha.
Got a MINI? Don't talk to me.
