    Default My S13 Hatch

Well, my buddies had a thread about there 240s posted on here. I saw someone else post theirs too... so, I figured I would join the club.

Haven't posted on the forums in forever. But for anyone who doesn't know, I've always been a Honda guy. This 240 was in fact my first non-Honda car. Stepping into a RWD car from FWD was a great thing... a great thing indeed. It would be hard to ever go back.

My last car before my 240 was a 99 Si. I really loved this thing.

Sold her, and picked up this guy

And here was some of the damage it came with

A bit of a down grade from the Si at first, huh? lol

After a large amount of time and hard work, this is how she sits now.

The bay before I relocated the battery to the trunk, just in case you were wondering if I had two batteries.lol

So there you have it. My idea of a nice "daily driver" 240. The majority of the pictures were taken on my phone. Sorry about that. Maybe sooner or later, I can get some better shots of it. Thanks for looking!

Haha, yeah. About that sticker... A week after I painted it, I was pulling out of a nasty parking lot exit and despite my best efforts and the many years of experience with driving low cars, the entire thing was ripped off and I ran over it. The sticker is put over the worst part of the crack in the lip where the majority of the paint is gone. So it kind of covers it up a little. I'm going to redo the lip soon though and re-spray it. But thanks.

The word clean is thrown around way too loosely. Your car is a very typical 15 footer 240sx.

Thanks man. Nothing will change from sliding it at an event. I'm always careful with how hard I drive this car with it being my daily. I have no intentions to tandem anyone or give any walls "love taps". lol I enjoy drifting just as I do any other type of motorsport. She's been out to Silver Dollar before for drag racing, and I fully intend to run an autocross event with her as well. If I mess anything up while doing any of it, I'll fix it. I'm not one to just let my cars go downhill.

Yeah you're right. I saw that first picture of your 240 when you got it and I was thinking you were wack lol. In the end your 240 did come out to be nice and clean. Don't really see many of those around...ones that are clean and not damaged haha. Good work though I like it!

The only ones in Atlanta I knew about were the ones at turner field. Now that's over with, I'm not too sure.

Beautiful EM1. I hope you didn't trade your car for this, and even more so I really hope if you did you got a LOT of cash.

I agree about the FWD thing though, boosted s2k<3.

Thank you. And no, I didn't trade. I actually sold the Si to a buddy (so I know he's keeping great care of it ) and bought the 240 for hella cheap. All the money that I put into the 240 came from the difference of what I sold the EM1 for and what I bought the S13 for.

I would love to have an S2K someday... although I'm not sure how comfortable it would be considering I'm about 6'3"

Why do you pretend to know me ? I feel like you want to blow me or some shit. At least buy me dinner babe.

As far as my ability to build a car I would go your route and keep it simple and clean but I'm to busy fixing other people's fuck ups. Looks come last dude. I work more hours in one week then you do in 2. Sorry if I don't have time to build and make my car pretty it's a working progress. It's a drift car with aligned fenders at least. You just nit pick small shit so you have something to talk about. I bet if I looked over your car i could find shit that was done wrong. Your car looks good in pics it must have been hard painting and putting on a Silvia front end? Next time buy a Silvia fan boy.

Thank God! lol. Well I'm glad you got a car you like more now though, trust me it's hard to look back at a clean car and then get into your new car.. lol.

Put aftermarket seats in it and you'll be good. I've got a friend that didn't even want to try to get into the car last night lol. He was like the door doesn't open wide enough, I might be able to get in with the top down.. He's probably 350-400 though. lol. I'm only 5'9 on a good day so I've got no worries!

6'3 is the heigh limit in a s2k or miata. I'm 6'2 and I've had 6 miatas. Most people take some padding out of the seat to sit lower or buy aftermarket tails or seats. Long as your not 300 pounds you should fit.
