    Cool ***GetFRESH! goes grocery getter***

So after years of wanting one of these things... and coming to grips with the idea of getting rid of my hatch, I've finally found myself in a CE1.

Went out and snapped a few quick pics after a wash and this was the outcome.

Not wanting to go crazy with things... no overly huge/wide wheels, no kit, no 5-speed, no go-fast parts. Just wanted something clean, solid, dependable and different.

    Comments/critiques welcome.

I love the overall look of this car. My only criticism is the wheel choice...too big of a rim on this type of car IMO, it looks unnatural with so little rubber. Other than that, the car looks really good.

Not arguing with you there, it is still just a Honda and yes it's all been done before... but for every one Accord wagon you pass on the streets, you see 18,276 Civics, so visually it's a little less commonplace relatively speaking.

Man I had such a hard time with the 17"/18" debate, but after months of comparing hundreds of different setups, I decided overall 17's fit the CD chassis better and 18's for the CE. I think the rear end tends to make 17's look way too small on these. Honda made the wheel well arches huge on 5th gens and with the wagon especially, I feel like it needs a bigger wheel to flow right. I could have possibly gotten away with running a wider width/lower offset 17", but I'm really not trying to do the stanced out poke/flush/whatever thing. I'm really digging the mid to early 2000's era look for these cars so for now I'm just trying to keep things a little more towards the classic and simple side, big sunken wheels and all lol.

I don't care for the style of this wheel, but oddly enough (for me, that is), it kind of works because of the wheel color. Car looks great. I wouldn't do anything else to it. I wouldn't even put bags on it. You want dependable? Don't put stuff on there that doesn't need to be there. Later, QD.

Haha. When I first got it I had delusions to go all out with air-ride, kit and the whole 9 yards but after getting it to this point, I've fallen in love with the simplicity of it. Less shit to break.

Yeah I don't plan on doing much else to it besides maybe a re-spray eventually (back to factory color or close to it) and a few other tiny upgrades that no one would probably notice lol. And I couldn't agree more with your closing statement. I don't think enough people understand that.

I like the car, like the wheels, like the size of the wheels and how they fit......

Not sure if i like the wheel color. From a distance it looks great. That one picture of it up close, the wheel finish looked too flat.

Flat as in matte? Or flat as in no depth in the color? They are cleared, but I purposely chose a solid battleship gray color with no pearl/metallic. They do look funny in pic 2 though. Might be my shitty photoshop skills haha.

the color is fine, the picture makes it look rough like a primer or something. if it's cleared and smooth, then i would like it.

It's not often you see a honda as clean as this, so thats a plus, but I have this idea in my head that wagons are on the same level of gayness as minivans.

that thing looks amazing I effing love this wagon and I respect your ways with the wagon. but damn some type of turbo build would be pretty sweet or even an f20c swap would be pretty interesting.
