Default Forged Performance: Evo X MR Cooling Upgrades

Last week we had a long time customer of ours return his tastefully modified Evo X MR to us for another round of modifications. We are the only shop that has touched his car, and it's great to see this trend continue. The main reason for the cars return was cooling upgrades to make sure the 4B11T under the hood and the SST Twin Clutch Transmission remained in the correct operating temperatures. To achieve this we looked to Greddy for their assistance by using their Engine and SST Coolers. Installation of these units were sure to keep this MR cool and happy whether it is cruising down I-75 or spending a day on track at Road Atlanta. The SST Cooler is a pump driven component so installation of toggle switch was a necessary part of the process. Along with coolers we also installed a oil catch can from Greddy and a fresh set of Hawk HP-S brake pads.

Stay tuned for more threads and updates on this Evo X MR as the customer returns shortly for a full Forged Performance in-house Transmission Build with an assortment of just released Dodson components!

Air comes in the front and out the bottom for the blue cooler and the black one vents through the fender well. Pretty simple.

Is that mounting...duct(?) part of the kit or something fabricated in house?

The coolers are made to mount in that location and replace the foglights. There was fabrication work needed on the intercooler piping which we in return painted wrinkle black to match the original aftermarket piece
