Default What was your first vehicle... Post up!

Just got the idea for this thread because I've spent about the last week rebuilding my first truck. Got it when I was 15, blew it up in 2005 and had it sitting in the yard since. At one point was doing a SBF swap but lost interest, now it's back just how it was with a fresh motor.

1987 Toyota Pickup -Locked front and rear, 4.88 gears, MarlinCrawler tcase gears, 5" of lift, 33" TSL's-

Old pics from over the years:

I'll try to get some new pics tomorrow.

    Post up yours!

My first car was a 1980 Datsun 210 station wagon. Got it in 1986. This picture was taken in 1990. Later, QD.

Thanks, lolol. Of course I got this in the boom of the mini-trucking "era" so I modded it that way as "import tuning" wasn't really there at that time. Took the springs completely out, had baby turbo mirrors halfway up the b-pillar, shaved all four door handles, had all the trim on the driver side painted hot pink and all the trim on the passenger side painted hot green. Also had "drip" paint painted on the door panels and "rock" dash. That was the shit back in the '80s, lolol. Later, QD.

This is a Catalina, but my Executive looked exactly like this if you add a little rust to it. Inherited from my grandfather when I was 17, I loved that car rust and all, and probably why I'm still such a big Pontiac fan. Came home one day to find my mom had gotten rid of it because she didn't think it was worth my money or hers to fix it. Wish I still had it.

1981 Accord, JUST like this one, ended up giving it to the scrap yard. I got it when I was 14 though so it wasn't really like a "first car."

I hear ya. I had my mom front the money for mine, then busted my ass that summer to pay it back. Never had them "give" me a car, but I can thank them for that little lesson in responsibility.

My first car was a 84 Civic Hatchback. Paid $200 and drove it for 3 years with zero problems. I was rear ended at one point and the person insurance company gave me almost $800 to fix it. Cost $101 to replace the tail lights and clip the bumper back on.

I don't have a picture of mine but my first car was an '84 accord sedan with chameleon paint. Paint was worth more than the car and I complained like hell because it wasn't what I wanted but then I learned the values of just having something to drive. Awesome little car.

My first car was a 1992 Subaru Legacy SS Turbo AWD goodness. I loved this car like no other and one day will track it down and own it again! In 92 they only made 800 Turbo Legacies, 500 auto and 300 5 speed and mine was/is manual. I never should have sold it :-(
Lots of good times and great memories in that car. It was the direct completion for the Mitsu Galant VR-4, much like today's STI/EVO battle.
Anyways here's a pic I found online since I'm not at home, looks just like mine except I had 97 Legacy GT wheels.

Had a full body kit, unfinish skyline conversion that needed a shit ton of duct tape to hold it so it wouldnt fly off but after I got it i try to make it the best i can while working at sonic for $6.50 an hour..damn i wish i still had pictures of it but sadly i dont.

but i do have pictures of it before i crashed it

First car was 1989 Nissan 240SX Fastback. Bought it with saved up money from a part-time job in 2000. Red on factory "teardrop" rims. Kept it stock aside from an HKS Hi-Power Exhaust. No pics, but I ended up wrecking it then trading it in for new 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V.

Here's my first truck. Bought it when I was 15 with money I earned working for my dad's company over the summer. I was so proud of this thing. Had a lot of fun in it too. I miss it.
