    Default Goldie-Locks

Here it is! A great tower of power!!! The engine is a G54B that I built for my brother. This engine mated with a 19C turbo will produce some pretty nice numbers.

    Parts list:
    0.020 over stock block
    0.020 Pistons
Reconditioned rods w/ ARP rod bolts
All new timing set w/ balance shafts removed
    ARP head studs
Wilson Automotive Group built head w/ jet valves eliminated.
    Rebuilt Intake manifold

It's going in his 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSi. These motors came in the 83-89 starion/conquests.

I would have painted the timing chain cover too, but that's just me.

I need to paint my block...

This going in a fatty or a slim body?

It's going in a fatty. He didn't want the timing cover painted. These are pretty big 4 cylinders. Coming in at around 2600cc. You can put your fist down these cylinders!

What's the expected redline? seems that such big pistons wouldn't rev much passed 7K.

You can rev them up to 6500-7000 but stock they made peak torque 225 ft/lbs at 2500rpm. But with the turbo he is going to use he won't be revving over 6500.

Man, that intercooler set up is messy. And isn't there some sort of upgrade available to go to 1 injector per runner?

The intercooler was for getting the motor broke in. Yea it's called a Magna intake which came off of the Australian version, but it's a major ordeal to get it all to work well. My brother was wanting one he can just get in and drive it. Next year comes the 2jz project in building for him....

We are hoping close to 300hp. Stock they were rated at 185. But torque should be over 300.

No 14b here. It's a 19c so it's capable of those numbers. thanks for the comment.

We have a friend near by that owns a diesel tuning shop and has a dyno there. We are going to run stock ECU for now. We did install a walbro 255 to help with fueling. But for now we are getting it broke in. It will be his daily for a little while. Then comes the 2jz conquest.

Lol he wants this one to last. If anybody knows the G54B it'll last as long as you keep the boost down and your foot out of it. The 2jz is going in one of our other conquest. It will be the power maker.

    Cool

Here are some pics on the progress of Goldie-Locks.

My brother working on the brakes.

    My brother's quest with Goldie-Locks

Had a short shifter from another car, so we installed it. Had to add an extension to it to get the Hurst shifter knob to go on.

I've started working on the exhaust. Had an existing 3" laying around with a HKS muffler attached to it. I'm having to make a section to go from the downpipe to the existing exhaust. My cousin had some 3" stainless laying around, so he donated it to the cause.

    From the downpipe

Had to weld a flange on to the existing pipe.
