looks good but would look a lot better with some new wheels![]()
It doesn't look bad for a Saturn. I don't understand the bike rack though. :/

Where's all my massive amounts of spent money? besides spending like 60$ on my rack, 900$ on my turbo setup like 20$ on my wheels I don't have any money besides gas and oil into this car. It seems to me like it is a practical car to spend money on to go fast and still be comfortable with 4 people and then still get 32mpg. Just because it says Saturn on the front doesn't make it any less of a moddable car than any other 4 door 4 cylinder car.

This is why IA is the biggest joke, members laugh at anything different. Most Saturns beat the hell out of most Civics, which is what most here have, I just don't get it...
Looks good, can't tell what the wheels are though.
In the pictures, there is no bike in the rack... Doesn't really seem like its being used. Therefore... It wasn't obviuos why it was there. Looked like it was plopped on top as a result of the latest civic fad. But he uses it, so now I see he isn't retarded.
It's a nice car, and it looks pretty good. That's all I was saying.
In my opinion, bike racks can really ruin a car. If you dont happen to use it a lot why not consider a detachable trunk rack? They don't ruin your body lines.
I think the car has potential, but not owning a Honda you'll have to be a little more creative. There isn't as big of an aftermarket and a lot of what is available to you is rice stuff from the early 00s. But you'll always be ahead in originality, and that counts.

I didn't say modded either, although bolt on for bolt on I am willing to bet the Saturn still wins. There are more Civics because Civics were on the F&F. lol Plus it's just what's modded, mod outside the box and you get laughed at, we all know most "tuner kids" just want to fit in.
Saturns also have rich road racing history beating many Honda products including winning the World Challenge manufacturer championship in class beating the Type Rs.
They are still raced today as well:

I used to have wheels if anyone remembers but tires for 18s and tires for 15s are 2 totally different prices. I'm in the process of getting some 17s because 18s were too big had to have a 30 profile tire to match up to my ride height. After I get my turbo build finished (tune instead of fmu and new intercooler pipes) then there will be pics of that and I'll be able to save up for the wheels I want.
And one thing that nobody knows is that my car is sharing a chassis with a saab 9-5 and 9-3 so I have alot more aftermarket support than one would think. Shares the Ecotec drivetrain with cobalts and cavaliers.

Exactly. I'd be telling the truth if I said I'd own a Saturn before I'd own a Civic made after 1991.
The wheels you used to have, although much too big (in my opinion) and gold, looked much, much better than what you've got now. I personally love the size (15") you have on there now. Get a good set of wide 15" wheels with a good looking tire and you've got a nice ride.
No one knows that? You're the only one? Later, QD.
Leave as is just add wheels.....Adding the bike rack which we all know you will never use off.
its not a honda my friend

How is there not a chassis, the underside of the car is exactly the same as a Saab 9-3 and 9-5 as is the support structure of the car. If I wanted to I could drill out the spot welds on the rear fenders cut it at the roof line get Saab rear fenders and a trunk and throw it together, or I could do the same to the front. The front sub-frame and front and rear suspension are also identical.
I have used and will continue to use the rack, I'm not gonna set a kayak or a bike on my bare roof and mess up my paint and possibly dent the roof.
I know it's not a Honda, I never said it was a Honda and I never had any intentions of doing anything that would make it anything like a Honda.

Yeah..... a chassis would be a bare uni-body with no parts attached to it such as body panels, sub-frames, suspension parts, engines, transmissions and so on. I don't know who taught you what one is or does but I do know that you bolt your body panels to a chassis and you do strengthen or reinforce one with either a roll cage, strut reinforcements, tie bars ETC. If you would rather hear it like this my car shares a platform with the Saab. platform, chassis same thing. You have alot to learn as well if you consider the only form of a chassis to be a truck or car with a FRAME. I'm not gonna waste any more of my time arguing with you about a chassis and if my car shares one with a Saab because I know it does. I've done my research as should you.

Actually, Mr. Smary Pants...

[edit] Vehicles
In the case of vehicles, the term chassis means the frame plus the "running gear" like engine, transmission, driveshaft, differential, and suspension. A body (sometimes referred to as "coachwork"), which is usually not necessary for integrity of the structure, is built on the chassis to complete the vehicle. For commercial vehicles chassis consists of an assembly of all the essential parts of a truck (without the body) to be ready for operation on the road.[1] The design of a pleasure car chassis will be different than one for commercial vehicles because of the heavier loads and constant work use.[2] Commercial vehicle manufacturers sell “chassis only”, “cowl and chassis”, as well as "chassis cab" versions that can be outfitted with specialized bodies. These include motor homes, fire engines, ambulances, box trucks, etc.

Scroll down to monocoque
"Today, 99% cars produced in this planet are made of steel monocoque chassis"
It is described as a one piece chassis.
a frame on body is a form of a chassis as is a unibody design

Black paint on wheels is fail, i suggest polished or that frosted look and bike rack is uber fail, i suggest removal and burning, but as far as saturns go it's the best i've seen
BUILT NOT BOUGHT .........
If there was no chassis then there would be no support. Chassis are not just cars that have frames, uni-bodies stripped down are chassis. I'm a mechanic and on a pit crew for a road course racer so i do know what I'm talking about unlike some people that just look stuff up on wiki, which is always right (sarcasm). I think he should do whatever he wants to his car, who cares if its a saturn and not a stupid civic, don't cry when his car beats yours.
