I had a close friend that used to be into all this with me and he moved to Florida last year, and it's just not the same doing all this shit by myself. I'm debating on selling EVERYTHING. Plus I have a pending issue with a guy on hondatech right now about a turbo he purchased from me. Just not feeling it right now.....

i dont have an exhaust..... 3" open downpipe, it will only work if u have a topmount
i understand how that can be man.around my part of town that's all they want to do.exhausts, coilovers, and rims don't make you fast.it sucks that there is not that many people around here who build shit.but like i said before man .keep up the good work and hope you keep that beast!!

I'm thinking about buying a new flywheel....any particular ones I should look at?
I think I'm gonna go with a Comp Clutch and Flywheel. Had a 12lb one for a bit then traded that for some cash and all the spare parts I have now. No personal experience with it yet though.I have heard nothing but good things though.
oh i there was an exhaust in some of the pics with a black muffler i like it because it has a stock look with larger pipe =] what did you do with it?

How much $ do you think I have in this setup?.... and you do realize that building a sohc is probably a little bit more then just buying a full b series or h series alone. and don't let me get into the heavily overpriced and well loved k series. The truth is, that people put too much value on b/h/k for me to build one again, for years. I just saw a STOCK b18c5 on here the other day for like $5,000 or something insane like that. Be realistic and realize what you are saying. Oh yea and my labor and time are free! I have TONS of free time, EVERY DAY of the week.

The funny part isn't even that it was up for $5,000. The funny shit was that it takes around half of that to build a ls/vtec that will be much faster and reliable....... and the kicker is that there were people coming in the thread saying good deal and saying its worth every penny. Great Build, Only I just took for 30 minutes to read everything. I want build my Y7.
guess i'll continue it...... got a little motivation from a few poeple......ic and piping are here from a good buddy of mine. im not sure how much power it can support, but he made just over 600whp on his y8. so it should be enough for me, lol
another update...... new turbo is still on the way...... after it gets in i will only need to buy new injectors

I'm glad your finishing it man. I still got to work all the little bugs out of mine but working 14 hour shifts everynight and being on nightshift its hard to ever work on it except for weekend ends but when I try to work on it on the weekends all I hear is my girls mouth wanting me to spend time with her since I hardley ever see her lol
