Default New Lip On The NEON

Put this on yesterday, I made it from a Porsche lip. I like it, maybe it will help a little.

I don't know if it'll help, but it does look good on there. Like it was made to be on there. Later, QD.

Not that bad looking. Get a lower side profile when you get a chance. It will show it a little better.

Thanks. I had to cut it up some to fit but it mounted smoothly. I think it may help a little, based on how much a lip on a Miata helps, obviously completely different cars but last time out in the ACR it felt light in some high speed corners so it's worth a shot to keep some air out from underneath.

That little lip makes quite a difference on Miatas. I did make an aluminum air dam that mounts on the stock air dam location as well, I'll probably play with both and compare lap times and see if either make a difference or at least stable the car.

Yeah, a side profile of the lip is what I was getting at. I can't really make out how good it fits on the car.

Looks like it was made for it. I was expecting to see a Home Depot lip and am pleasantly surprised.

The SOHC it came with, I can't do swaps or anything in the class it's being prepared for. It was an SSC car (SCCA road race class) and has been modified slightly engine wise beyond that but for the most part it's pretty stock.

Mopar is still broke Tibs. Give them a year or two with all these new cars.

Love the lip, loose the stickers unless they are actually giving you money

Yeah even Solo they offered great stuff, similar to Mazda. The Neon Challenge series was like MX-5 Cup is today but lower costs. lol
