One of the only set ups I would supercharge. Theres actually more room when you swap this into a 4th gen prelude, THAT I would turbo.

I think some sort of lexan/plexiglass cover would be cool, kind of like the zr1.

This guy got the entire thing to fit, but still cut the hood for a little addition.

I hear those 3.0 contours are stout little cars. I considered one a little while back but it didnt have a cat. Sadly, that was a deal breaker for me.

OP nice swap! I bet the torque steer is incredible.


My last two race cars didnt have hoods. From what I found, I was either working on them or showing them off so I left the hood off. Could become a problem if daily driven though.

Swap is easy just like any other swap if you have done a ton of them. The car has Hasport mounts but they are not adjustable. And the car is driven daily with no issues. I drove it to Reynolds for import showdown and I had no issues then either.

They are very stout cars even without boost. Check out www.nautilusperformance.com They specialize in contour swaps/turbo and other cars.
